What tipping point? I don‘t see any so far.
Climate scientists are increasingly concerned that we are getting close to climate tipping points. These are thresholds beyond which the Earth's climate system could change rapidly and irreversibly. Some of the most concerning tipping points include:
  • The melting of the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets, which could raise sea levels by several meters and inundate coastal cities around the world.
  • The collapse of the Amazon rainforest, which could release billions of tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, further accelerating climate change.
  • The release of methane from permafrost in the Arctic, which is a powerful greenhouse gas that could cause even more rapid warming.
It is difficult to say exactly how close we are to these tipping points, but it is clear that we are getting closer. If we do not take action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, we could cross these thresholds in the near future, with devastating consequences.

If you would like to further explore tipping points, here are some links.

The climate of the earth in the past one million years simply goes in gradual cycles. There is no sharp turning point of anything.

You must be an extremely fast reader and have a giant knack for comprehension to have gone through the links I supplied.

And yet you still disagree. Here is a bit more (all of which have been verified by science and have 97% consensus among climate scientists) for you to deny.

The climate of the Earth has indeed gone through gradual cycles in the past million years. However, the current rate of warming is much faster than any natural cycle that has been observed in the past. This is due to the fact that humans are emitting greenhouse gases into the atmosphere at an unprecedented rate. These greenhouse gases trap heat, causing the Earth to warm.

The rate of warming is so rapid that it is causing the Earth's climate system to change in ways that are unprecedented in the past million years. This could lead to a number of serious consequences, including:
  • Rising sea levels, which could inundate coastal cities and displace millions of people.
  • More extreme weather events, such as hurricanes, floods, and droughts.
  • Changes in agricultural yields, which could lead to food shortages.
  • Mass extinctions, as many species are unable to adapt to the changing climate.
It is therefore essential that we take action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and slow the rate of climate change. If we do not, we could face a future that is much warmer and more dangerous than the one we know today.

Party on.....

Really. You know that for a fact?
Climate deniers use the fossil fuels industry playbook of twisted facts:
  • The climate has changed naturally in the past. Which is true, but the rate of climate change in recent decades is much faster than any natural changes that have occurred in the past.
  • There is no consensus among scientists about climate change. This is not true. The vast majority of scientists agree that climate change is real and that it is caused by human activity.
  • The costs of addressing climate change are too high. This is true but it also true that the costs of inaction on climate change are much higher than the costs of taking action.
We have seen this play out with the tobacco industry so not a coincidence that the fossil fuels industry use their playbook as well some of the same consultants that the tobacco industry used.

I know you know. Just reminding us that climate deniers do not have any facts unless you count in the false and twisted facts.

When the world was still in Stone Age, the earth temperature is already as warm as it is now. Wake up.

Did you read my comments? In case you missed what I wrote, here it is again:
"The climate of the Earth has indeed gone through gradual cycles in the past million years."

Below is a graph of CO2 levels related to Global temperature and sea level over thousands of years. Notice that when CO2 spikes abrumptly, global temp and sea levels also spike higher. We are now at the highest CO2 levels ever.

Show me the fact that there are no
abrupt changes ever.
And drfine abrupt
For global average temperature, I guess 1 degree C per century change can be called an abrupt change.
The rising of temperature from the low of last glaciation time to the present took 10,000 years. On the Pleistocene temperature curve, it looks very abrupt. However, to human being, it is very gentle.

That is why I said the so-called “turning point” is only a political hoak.

On the time scale of that figure, the recent straight up of the CO2 concentration is only a statistical and a political lie.

Do you know how many countries have signed the Paris Accord? Do you know how many different types of societies? Vastly different cultures? Completely different and sometimes opposing political parties? And you think this is a political conspiracy?

Well, you have to laugh...
