I lol'd at the "making society a better place" and the so-called "moral laws of the universe." Even though I myself am, like you, Delphiki, a free-market libertarian, thus disagreeing with Dawkins about the ideal society, I laugh at the idea that a better society according to Wendy Wright is anti-gay, anti-lesbian, anti-womens' rights and anti-private freedom. It's one of the main problems I have with mainstream conservatives, who promote so little government involvement the economy, but promote so much in the private life, in areas of gay marriage, pornography, and other issues that are deemed "immoral" according to the bible. It's just plain hypocritical.
Notice how she consistently dodges the actual, found transitional fossils, including the multitude that Dawkins explicitly states by saying there should be more? obviously she doesn't understand the process of fossilization, which requires an extraordinary number of precise circumstances and happens one time in a million. I am actually surprised there are as many transitory fossils as there are, considering the conditions required for perfect fossilization.
