weird dream

I had a dream last night that I had bought a two story house with lots of rooms. one was haunted but we fixed that in Jesus Name. then near the end of the dream I was looking after a cat and chickens and then the other person in the dream (who is actually a room mate in real life) said have you remembered about the dog? I hadn't realised there was a dog as well but in the dream had bought the house quickly and was still finding out what was there but the dog came with the house. she had been feeding it for me. then we went out the back and and there was a cow, dog and many many other animals to look after and I felt overwhelmed seeing all the animal feed and knowing how much time it would take to look after them all, let alone trying to find more roommates to fill the rooms in this huge house. also then my roommate was going out and I didnt want to be alone in the house after the haunted room so I was trying to think who I could call to come over but could only think of an unhealthy friend who I have limited contact with in real life. it wasnt a bad dream but was an uncomfortable dream full of responsibility. I woke mid dream because I had to get up and sort out my chickens in real life!

a bigger house is not something I would like, the one I have is not a big house but is too big for me but it has rooms i rent out. but if I didnt need the income and had the freedom to do so I would get a one or two bedroom place to live by myself. I have considered getting a caravan to live in and put it in the driveway. then I could rent out all the rooms in the house but not have to live with the people.

Ok, well while most dreams tend to be purely symbolic, I don't sense anything symbolic in this one. It could be literal, right down to the haunted room, the dog, the cow, and the chickens. The fact that you already rent out rooms suggests the following interpretation:

Though you don't desire such a house now, the dream suggests you may be tempted/seduced into buying a larger rental property for cheep in the future, but it will be a very bad investment. The haunted room is likely why it will be so cheep, but on top of this making it harder to rent out, you will not take into account the amount of hassle it will take to deal with other entanglements associated with the property. Instead of it making you more money, it will make you less, and you will become burdened with responsibilities that will paralyze your spiritual life in the process.

It's a warning to be very careful about what you purchase in the future. Not all the glitters will be gold.
