I would not act on a dream in any way, I dont care how real it seems. I do not buy into dreams or their interpretatations for any reason. The Bible says we can have dreams that are from God, but this dream should only verify what you have already been dealing with in your life from God and if didnt I would rebuke it.. In other words it would only be a confirmation . We have to be very careful about things like this and those so called prophets that are always telling folks what God said. Those dream interpreters you see on television are in my opinion pure balogne.

So Joseph did the wrong thing when he took warning from his dream and took Mary and Jesus to Egypt to avoid the slaughter of the infant males?

And the wise men did the wrong thing when the took warning from their dream and when back east by a different route to avoid Herod?

Those were different than this nutty stuff going on in churches and teachings today as well as this garbage on tv from dream interpreters. Trust me, if God spoke to you through a dream it would not me goofy and it would be a confirmation on something he is dealing with you on. In other words you would know that you know that you know that you were getting something from God.

How can you know what the content of their dreams were? Maybe you would think their dreams were nutty, too? Can you really know God so well that you can judge what kind of dreams he gives people or how he communicates with us? As long as the dreams don't contradict the Bible or tell the person to cause harm to another, how can you be sure one dream or another is not of God?

I cant but I can only warn folks about giving too much priority to dreams , prophetic messages and such because many people have been hurt by following such things and there was no truth to it. All I say is be careful for there is a lot of craziness going on out there today. As I stated before I think messages, dreams, etc are only confirmations to something God is already dealing with a person about.

Wow, you need to get around more and listen to more people's dreams. I'm not talking about dreams in which people claim they got a "new" revelation or "new word" from God, of course those are bogus, I'm talking about dreams in which God revealed something to them about themselves or their lives. I've heard of many that are true and accurate. Most dreams are from our own subconscious mind, trying to tell us something that we won't think about when we are awake, but very rarely, they are from God, which I believe this dream was. I was not even considering that mormons would try to give me materials until this dream, and then it was confirmed by the truth that there are mormons in my neighborhood who are active in mormon missions and might try to give me books that would preach mormon doctrine instead of Christian doctrine. That to me is a warning dream that came true.

I had a dream a couple nights ago that I was a yard boy having an affair with the rich mistress of a manor. Go figure.

Okay, let's analyze this dream and see if we can find any warnings from God in it, or direct revelations that might be God seeking to speak to you about something you are dealing with in your life.

First, is this a real dream or are you making it up to make a sarcastic point?

Second, do you read a lot of gothic romances or play a lot of RPGs? This dream sounds like it could be a manifestation of one of those, with your brain entertaining you with a new story line while you sleep.:)

The second one is a standard "design problem" dream. Designers like us often puzzle over a design problem while we sleep because our minds are less inhibited then and more able to be creative and get past problems, or we dream up new and complex problems because our creativity isn't being challenged enough in our waking life.

The first one sounds like a wish-fulfilment dream, in which your brain expresses the desire to have a more active and romantic love life with a beautiful and desirable partner.

Neither is a warning dream or revelation dream from God, just your own brain talking to you in your sleep. :)

Yes I would say most dreams today are nothing but the typical goofy dreams everyone has and I would not put any credence on any dream unless I knew that I knew that I knew that God was speaking to me about something in confirmation otherwise I would rebuke it in Jesus name. And nothing can be added to Scripture I do not care where it comes from or who or what was said. If a dream is against the Bible I would rebuke it.
