  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

ok...I'll play, 211 this am
I'm considered obese on the height/weight charts, 5'11, but i know better.
I was a 240 a few years ago but have dropped that and now hover about 208-212.
I may try some more cutting as we closer to summer..right now i have been concentrating on weight training..toning up and building muscle..

I do weekly weigh in's at Weight Watcher meetings, my progress so far:

Feb 26: 228.4
Mar 04: 220.6
Mar 11: 217.8
Mar 18: 214.2
Mar 25: 212.8

Next weigh in is tomorrow

btw, my bathroom scale said 206 this morning, but that doesn't necessarily agree w/ the weight watcher's calibrated scale (and take into consideration I'm fully clothed for the weight watcher's weigh in).

I weighed 139 lbs. this morning, and I'm totally disgusted. I should be somewhere around 135 or even 130. I'm 5'5".

But what's really strange is that my size 6 pants have gotten so loose recently that I've gone to a size 4.

I've been doing weights since October....side effect, I think. My upper body is sore all the time, I'm putting on weight, and my jeans are looser...

But meanwhile I can finally do a real push up! Twenty of them in a row! For me, that's incredible.... :clap:
