Respectfully, what you call "option two", does NOT denote that Harris sincerely didn't feel Biden had declined too far to do the job. The inference built into the op insinuates that Harris either didn't know Joe was in decline, or she did know he had declined too far but didn't tell the American people when she said she would.

Ive heard this and that from prominent people. Mainly its about his suitability for the campaign and for the years down the road. Perhaps Im missing out on a few choice bits. Either way I dont care. Biden is retiring. Harris has performed her role as we should expect.

Apparently they want to know if Harris kept a secret about the President's ability to lead, and will use this to attack her claiming people who did not run to the press to say how bad Biden was is not fit to lead the country.
