Saint.... we are to "walk in the light" as "Jesus is in the Light". = at all times.
Thats not a request.
Thats a demand.
That is mature Christianity, as a reality.
Now, Let me open that verse, so that you can see it.
If you are not born again, you're not going to see it.
Now, this is going to be a short spiritual teaching.
Saint....Walking in the Light, is the same as Walking in the Spirit.
They are One.
When you are born again, you are PUT, "translated from darkness TO LIGHT", and that Light, is the Holy Spiritual LIFE of GOD, that is Eternal Life, that is the Kingdom of God, that you now exist in, as you are born again >INTO IT.
How did God put you there?
He put you there by giving you His very Righteousness, as "the Gift of Righteousness".
You became this, and you exit AS the very righteousness of God in Christ, if you are born again.
See, originally..... Adam was One with God, and was walking in the Spirit. Then he sinned and was disconnected from "Oneness" with God, and became fallen and sinful.
God came here, as the 2nd Adam, to restore you into 1st Adam position, so that you are again "One with God".
He did this by dealing with your sin and giving you His very Righteousness.
Jesus, who is God, accomplished this on the Cross, and by His Blood, Death, and Resurrection.
And this "finished work"< (Jesus said,"" it is FINISHED/Accomplished"" then died)....that is the total Spiritual restoration of anyone who will receive Christ, that eternally puts you into God's Spirit, as born again.
Now, the reason that Christians can't live holy, yet are always sinless in God's perspective, is because the holy walk of discipleship is related to this....>"apart from me, you can do nothing"..
So, you have to stay connected to Jesus, by having the same type of understanding about what it means to be "in Christ" and walking in the Spirit.
When you dont, you dont., and you fail.
So, to have that as a success, is to have the right MIND.
If you have the wrong mind, you have a carnal mind, and that mind leads you to sinning and confessing.
If you think that abiding in the vine is to try to be good, and when you dont, you confess that sin, and get back in the vine....is exactly nothing to do with the Vine.

Walking in the Spirit is to exist in the LIGHT>.....in the mind.......having the right mind.
Not having a double mind, and not having a carnal mind.
But having the mind of Christ that is : "walking IN the Spirit".
Saint,...Its to exist as enlightened regarding ONLY and ALWAYS seeing yourself, as God's sees you, as "Born again" <> "Righteous".
Now, that's not difficult to understand, but it is not a reality that most Christian have been taught to embrace.
And if you do not exist in that Mind......that is God's perspective of you, whereby He sees you only and always as "made righteous", "the righteousness of God in Christ", and "as Jesus is, so are the born again in this world"....... if you will not learn to be obedient to this Truth, and keep this mind at all times.... then you will live in darkness and you will never stop sinning and repenting and confessing,, which IS carnal Christianity.

Now notice. "walking IN the Spirit". "walking IN the Light".
"IN"......
Now let me explain this...
You are already IN God.. You are born again into God's Spirit.
That is your eternal Life.
Its done.
You are One with God and Christ and you are going to heaven
But to walk "IN">the Light...to walk "IN" the Spirit, means that you exit there IN Your Believing.
You walk IN the Light by the revelation of who you are in Christ according to GOD's perspective, and never your own perspective.
See, your perspective will be.....>im a saved sinner. Im born again to sin and confess.
But that is not God's Perspective of you.
God's perspective of you is... that you are as righteous as He is, at all times = because He has made you righteous with His own Blood.
And that Righteousness is not affected by the flesh nor is it changed by your behavior.
The blood of God is the garment of your salvation, and it will never be taken off.
In other words......Your born again Spirit, is literally the Righteousness of God.
That is why it is born again., and that can never be changed, because GOD CAUSED THAT TO EXIST.....Not you.
But, you can exist in your carnal mind of faith, and in your carnal mind of Theology totally ignorant of who you are = God's Righteousness, and when you do, you are in the carnal mind, and that is why you are sinning and confessing 1-4o yrs after you are saved.
So, to walk IN the Spirit, is to walk IN the LIGHT of the Revelation of who God perceives you to be, at all times.
You live there in your Mind, as that is the RIGHT MIND.
The RIGHT MIND is how God perceives you, and not now how you perceive you.
This verse. Hebrews 13:9 You need to live in it, forever.
So, until you come into this right mind, you will exist in the wrong mind, which is why you sin and confess.
