CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Just asking if you're willing to rise above the seeming need at this moment for unconditional support of Trump to condemn him for supporting white supremacist groups.
Or you could just find reasons like this to excuse his actions. Either way works for me, just curious.

Keep on believing. It still reads to me like right-wing talking points said by people pretending to have left the Democratic party to make people who already believe those right-wing talking points feel better about their chances in the upcoming election. Add to it the facts showing heavy Russian involvement in spreading the message, combined with it requiring minorities to run towards the party led by someone who is "only" vaguely racist, and it just doesn't add up.
But hey, good on you for believing something you heard on the internet. Let us know how that works out for you.

I mean, don't even bother looking into the details of claims that this is a few people astroturfing and the data showing Russian involvement. Don't stop and ask why minorities would be moving in droves to a party which as advertised as having a leader who is only vaguely racist.
But ok, you win. Minorities are moving to support the GOP and will win the upcoming elections for you. You and your fellow traditional GOP voters can relax and stay home.

Many people are ant-Trump because he is pro Christianity and the majority of minorities are christian. The attack on Judaeo Christian values is part of the reasoning for #walkaway.
