• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
 • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

It's 5% of purchases made through the gay group's website.

So you could buy on Walmart.com without supporting the gay group in any way.

I think it says you CAN'T shop without supporting it. It says--

"Wal-Mart Contributes 5% Of Online Sales To Homosexual Group"

We already saw from what happen last month that us shopping there supports many of the causes for this group

What are y'all getting in a fuss about? Before Wal-Mart did this, they were ALREADY selling millions of cd's by Clay Aiken, Barry Manilow, Elton John, New Kids On The Block, and Backstreet Boys.

And don't forget Tom Cruise movies!

Don't kid yourself, folks - Wal-Mart's been supporting the gay community for a very long time.

I didn't realize that Wal-Mart was supporting the gay movement with money! That shocked me! But, this is only with on-line sales, right? I will not know what to do without Wal-Mart, I am there almost every day! I think anymore, most big companies do support anything liberal anymore.

As for Tom Cruise, I thought that was why Rosie O'Donnell had such a crush on him! Who's baby is it anyways? I thought Tom couldn't have kids. hmmmm. Maybe another publicity stunt, never know with Hollywood anymore.

I repeat, it's 5% of purchases made through the gay group's website.

So you could buy on Walmart.com without supporting the gay group in any way.

I think it says you CAN'T shop without supporting it. It says--

"Wal-Mart Contributes 5% Of Online Sales To Homosexual Group"

That headline was written to cause outrage and motivate you a certain way.

That doesn't change the truth, though.

I'd also like to point out that the gay gorup is using Walmart.com's Affiliate Program, which anyone can sign up for.

It is available here:
http://www.walmart.com/affiliate/aff_home.html

And when you refer people to buy from Walmart.com, you get 5% of their purchase.

Your church could sign up for it, put it on its website, and then you can circulate headlines all around saying

"Wal-Mart Contributes 5% Of Online Sales To CHURCH!"

Every purchase made online for books, music, videos, clothing and accessories, children's clothing and toys, and electronics at the site will automatically send 5% of the sales to the homosexual group.
this says every purchase made online. So then you could go to the store and be fine.

Petition won't work because with them, MONEY talks, not petition. If you don't like Walmart, don't shop. That is where they are hurt the most. However, people rather save money, they will shop there regardless. Talk about hyprocrites.

Yet another example where "christians" will deceive to push their own *religious* views . I trust articles by christians less and less because they manipulate a few facts to get an emotional reaction that has nothing to do with truth or importance - aimed at sheep .

Bottom line. As long as it's against gay people, we're all for it! Hate them gays. That's where we draw the line!

jk

Ever notice how the majority of fundamentalist evangelical Christianity is spent in protest of something? It's like we define our religious experience based on what we are mad about!

You can't get the religious right together on POSITIVE issues like prayer, but let a Terri Schiavo come along, or the Defense Of Marriage Amendment [something where Christians can get angry and mad] and the Christians come out of the woodwork in protest.

I don't think Jesus walked around waiting for something to get mad about before He'd get motivated. But the Christians, however, can't get a fire lit under them unless they're MAD about something.

Yet the Bible says it was COMPASSION that moved Jesus.

Type this phrase in Google, "Jesus was moved with compassion", and you get 3210 entries.

Type this phrase in Google, "Jesus was moved with anger", and you get 258 entries.

Basically, there are 12.44 times as many Google entries about the compassion of Jesus, to every ONE Google entry about his anger. I know that Google's not Scripture, but it sure says something about Jesus.

I dont think its just online . Last month and before that they supported some of their big things and it didnt say anything about online. If they regularly support them, it really doesnt matter. What they make they use to go to them.
