Volient Games

I have recently been brought 3 games, which have violence included, such as, GTA 5, Call Of Duty etc. Can these games bring in bad spirits or block you from god? I know it sounds a bit extreme but since I have started playing them, i have been ill and my room doesn't feel relaxed and disturbed. Its hard to explain but has anyone else experienced this or has anyone got any help?

Each person is different. Each person reacts to things differently. Some of us can listen to violent music, play violent games, or watch violent movies without it effecting us spiritually, others cannot. You need to decide whether or not it's the game and content having a negative effect on you, and deal with the situation accordingly based on your conclusion.

All those big name people out there blaming society's problems on violent games are trying to get publicity.

I wrote a 10 page paper last year for my senior High School year about the dangers of censorship. And there more dangers than benefits.

manbox1, you really need to quit answering year-old threads. Please look at the dates of the last post in a thread you are reading. This thread is over 6 MONTHS old. The MGS4 one you revived is about a YEAR old. Some of them might be relevant, but when threads are a half-year or year old (or more), a lot of the time the original thread starter and other posters aren't even around anymore. You end up responding to questions and comments by people who don't quit coming here a long time ago.

Welcome to CF, and also to the gamers zone section. Have fun, but remember that year-old threads usually don't need to be resurrected. It's a nice portrait of Christ; to be resurrected, but I'm guessing that's not what you're trying to compare to when you resurrect an old thread.
