Hi there!

I am non denominational but recently took a pretty accurate test to see what denomination my beliefs most fit. I got Evangelical Lutheran but I researched on the Wikipedia page and found that my views are more of an Arminian. Does anyone know if there is an Arminian community on this board? Thanks~!

Arminian is not a denomination but a theology. Free-will Baptists, Methodists and Assemblies of God are some of the denominations that are Arminian in theology.

Arminian is not a denomination but a theology. Free-will Baptists, Methodists and Assemblies of God are some of the denominations that are Arminian in theology.

So are Anabaptist (Amish and Mennonites).

Better to ask it here if you want to know what Luther's view was. We allow others to come in and ask questions. We welcome discussion. In GT, you will probably get a lot of people saying what they think Luther's views are.

Are folks on the board primarily "conservative" or "liberal"? I take that this means LCMS or ELCA in US terms.

Also, in world-wide Lutheranism, about what percentage belong to each group. I know the US numbers.

I serve a congregation in the mountains northwest of LA by 80 miles (we are at 5,500 ft in our house).

Our on campus students attend either Fort Wayne or St. Louis. But we have online seminary that I started 3+ years ago. We have 13 active students in the online portion and five more who have expressed interest in the next year. We use live video conferencing so everyone sees everyone else live.
