Or something. But even the simplest creature can be effected by sound waves, even though it can't make sounds itself. So what trick do you think you have up your sleeve by insisting that making sound must come before detecting sound?why not? it can reject predators or something.

It depends on how many "parts" capable of making a sound exist already. In theory, that would be any part of a creature's body which could be made to vibrate.eventually you will need to made sound. so lets focus with the sound system. how many parts you will need to such a system?
An entity capable of detecting sound waves. I told you that already, but for some reason you want it to be able to produce sound waves before it is able to detect them, which makes no sense to me. I'm also not sure what you mean by "parts" or why you are so preoccupied with the notion.so what will be your first step?
are you talking about hearing? An entity capable of detecting sound waves. No, I'm afraid they're not. The goal is still to maneuver, with cleverness and great subtlety (as well as the strategic use of robot penguins) one of us into admitting that the function of a complex system requires the parallel evolution of related "parts" and we ***KNOW*** that can't happen. And the goal posts are a shiftin'!
I still don't get what you mean by "parts." Are you still on that kick about how systems of more than one "part" can't evolve?so how many parts we need to evolve the abillity to detect sound waves?
Then I can't really contribute much. I don't really know much at all about the relationship between genotype, protein formation and phenotype. I thought you were talking about "parts" in terms of morphology. I can see now why that didn't make much sense to me.parts can be proteins or proteins domains.
it can be at the morphological level too. depend on the system. Then I can't really contribute much.
