Ive played "Find the sound" with my computer all day.

I found it at least.

That game isn't fun at all.

It's like wheres waldo except.... he is hidden in the drivers and bios and you have to flip them all in order to smoke him out.

I am going to get me the new/old Nintendo that is coming out in November and a PS2. I am then getting a big pre-HDTV to hook my games up to and I am getting rid of all cable and internet service. I am getting a hug stereo and jamming out to old Rolling Stones and modern Christian music while videoing out, like I did in the 80's, old school.

That's right...I'm a gamer girl. Not a hardcore one, mind you...I play casually. But as the thread title implies, this thread is all about video games!

Do you play video games? What kind of games? Any specific genre you like?
What are you currently playing?

Any game system or platform applies: Xbox, Nintendo, Playstation, Sega, Atari, PC, and any other you can think of.

I play casually, of course on PC the superior way. I play tons of different video games, I try to stay away from games that support/glorify evil (ie. magic and witchcraft, glorify war, etc.). I play CounterStrike, Rocket League (buy it if you have not, great game), War Thunder, Arma 3, TF2, etc. I don't have much free time though, so I don't get to play that often.

I used to be into video games a lot more, and stopped playing for years. But recently I've picked up a few games again. I am currently playing The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. I have no idea how this game slipped past me.

Strangely enough, that is the one LoZ game I do NOT want to play. And that's saying something, because I am a HUGE LoZ fangirl.

I've seen some gameplay of it on Youtube...and it just...creeps me out. It's really weird...because right now, I'm still trying to get through Twilight Princess, and some people consider THAT a pretty dark game. Majora's Mask though...it just gives me the shivers.

It's funny you say that, because before I bought it, I looked it up to see what people thought of it and noticed that a lot of people think it is dark too. It really does involve a lot of death and creepy characters. Even the moon is really creepy, lol. It hasn't bothered me to play it though. Maybe because getting to play as Zora, Goron, and Deku Scrub totally outshines the darkness of the game. It makes it pretty awesome to play.

That's cool you're playing Twilight Princess... That's my favorite Zelda game so far. I agree it's not as dark as Majora's Mask... It's dark, but in a different way.

My teen played Majora's Mask for a while. I haven't really been that interested in Zelda games since Ocarina of Time (which I never finished), but I was a huge fan of the original and still play through that sometimes.

I just recently started World of Tanks. I've found it to be much less of a time sink to progress compared to other games. Right now I'm at Tier III with a German Light Tank and British Arty. The only drawback currently is I'm pretty much stuck with random matches until I reach the higher Tier vehicles and join a clan.

My favorite games of all time were the Silent Hill series.

Anyone else as obsessed with them as I used to be/still kinda am? They're very dark, but I don't know, I just loved them.

Huh?? Hitler was a great motivational speaker... horrible man, but great speaker. So, I don't get why that would be difficult in the game XD

Straight up nerd here.

I used to game primarily on Xbox and Xbox 360, but over the past several years discovered the joy that is Steam, and now primarily play on PC. I'd played games on PC many times before, of course, I played WoW off and on for a good five or so years. And I've always loved the Civilization series of games.

In the last few months what I've played the most:

- Fallout 4, I'd played a little bit of 3 and New Vegas, but this is the first Fallout game I ever got into seriously.
- Crusader Kings 2, I've put more hours into this than any other game probably. I always come back to it because it's just amazing.
- Minecraft, because of course Minecraft.
- Stellaris, Paradox grand strategy game in space? Yes please.
- Starbound, finally came out of beta last weekend, much fun has been had.

I also have played a lot of Skyrim, I still haven't completed the game, I'll get around to it eventually.

I'm currently looking forward to No Man's Sky.
