Does your pastor(s) choose to wear a Genevan Gown or something similar during worship?

Just curious...ours wears the simple black gown of Geneva that Calvin deemed worthy of use.

Our Pastors just wear suits. I have actually never seen them in vestments.

My pastor just wears dress pants/shirt and a sport coat. We have mentioned vestments and we might use them at some point. We've talked about the black robe, as it hides the "man" preaching the word so that it is just the word that has our attention and not the personality of the preacher.

It's kind of funny though, my pastor usually only wears a tie when there's a baptism or a wedding. We joke around that his tie is his vestment!
