I thought I ticked her off, but I sent her a pm before she left and it turns out everything is cool between the two of us. I'm just sad she's gone, it's not the same place without her. Now all I do on this forum is have a staring contest with Greatnews lol.

Anyways, right now I'll vent about having to get up early for work. Such a mind numbing job, surrounded by such stupid people. Least one of my favorite co-workers is coming back to my department in a few months.

I am tired of hearing about how great marriage is and about the "one" and all that garbage. I was up thinking tonight of all the marriages I've seen that fail or where they beat each other up or whatever. Many married people live in hell. they take things they never thought they would tolerate. I think of how evil and selfish and insensitive and never sorry or unrepentant people can be to their spouse. lying to you and themselves. All those sins are aimed at the soft targets in life and you as spouse are number one soft target people use and abuse and lie and steal and cheat and isolate and all the horrible things people do. Even the nicest stories are horrible. I think of how people lose their minds at points in life and think their spouse is evil when they are not. It is pure hell to live with someone you so care about who thinks you are the devil. or maybe they just don't respect you or care about you. and it isn't a nice movie or sitting in a hospital with your injured love one recovering. It is you sitting alone in the hospital while your spouse doesn't care anymore and is home doing something else without a care in the world about you. It is wondering if you can forgive them of sleeping with another they lied about over and over and called friend and accused you of jealousy. and by the time you find out they are crying in your arms only because their secret lover left them. your gentle kind spouse will insult you to the core to the point of insulting your sex organs and denying you touch longer than you thought possible. It is being ignored for days or weeks or months at a time while they walk away from christ, becoming selfish and not caring about the poor or church or even remembering to celebrate or give you a gift or lift a finger for you. no list guarantees anything. people attack and accuse the worst things to the point you wonder who you are even listening to. and you think you know them and whether you fight back or beg for mercy they never stop. they throw God to the side and spit at Him and all rationality--when you once evangelized together--do you think you will fare better? how will you feel when you discover your great christian spouse wishes you were someone else at work or on tv or whoever and would trade you for them? if you can stand by all that and worse, then get married. because that is what it is. a few months ago I was on the hospital wing floior where people were dying daily. all of them were dying alone. this is only the tip of the iceberg and I know it is worse for many. I don't even like to think about some of the stories I know because it makes me cry. I don't choose to be single to live my life for God--though I wish I were so noble--I choose to remain single because it is a better life.

Red, that made me sad. No one and no relationship is perfect, but even my broken one was not as bad as you color it. Our relationship has changed, but we still care and wish each other the best and even do what we can for one another. Now I need a hug.

I must be doing something wrong. The guys on the secular dating site will email me, but the ones on the Christian site barely do. I wonder if I were to take off the "masters", not mention everything I've done and the places I've been, act like I completely depend on my parents for everything, don't mention future business opportunities, among other things . Yeah, I think I'm gonna take everything that is me off there and put some bogus stuff on there to see what will happen...I'm so frustrated.
