  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't believe I mentioned your name beastt... don't make assumptions please. But since I'm already here and were on the topic of birds perhaps we can discuss Christmas Turkey recipies.

Want to have "tender" turkey breastts? ... cook your turkey upside down in your pan (breastt side down while cooking). That way your breastt meat won't dry out and will remain moist and juicy. :yum:

Your post directly followed mine and the dates are obvious. Your attempts to deceive are reliable markers for your character as your taunting intentions testify to.

I don't eat carcass.

Nothing like an old home^grown country Christmas. Man I miss having Christmas back on the farm. Having blizzards keep you snowbound for days... till you fire the tractor-snowblower up and reopen the yard and roads, heh. Kids out skating on the pond and hunting jackrabbits all day till dinner... when fall vegetables and deer/elk steaks from the fall hunt are served and topped off with pecan pie and home decorated shortbread cookies! :yum: Let me know if you need another farm hand. ;)

God bless stix ... hope your kids get feeling better soon. Having the flu isn't much fun... especially right before Christmas!

Oh you do miss it! I absolutely LOVE living in the country! The best thing about it is the peacefullness! We had snow like you mentioned beginning of November, it was fun!! Another farm hand, sure come on over! Got lots of fence that needs mendin' cuz the tumbleweeds were HUGE this year and they are knocking over the fences! They are so bad I tried riding my four wheeler through them one day and got stuck! LOL!!
Well you have a Merry Christmas and God bless you my friend!
Sorry for interruptin this thread, just had to track FallenSparrow down to say Howdy!!

I'm looking for some good info against Vegetarianism. I found plenty of good stuff for, but I can't find any good webpages AGAINST it. I know they have to be out there, but I can't find them!
Hi Zoe_uu:
The poster that created the thread was looking for info against vegetarianism, I believe the pic FS put of the turkey was mouth watering and his way of saying meat is GOOD! :) I find FS's pic to be funny and no way offensive, if the original poster wanted praises on vegetarianism, then I could see it being offensive, but Tibby asked for opinions/info "against" vegetarianism and to me seeing that big juicy bird was a perfect reason not to go vegetarian. I see humor in it as well, I got a good laugh, like they say, pictures are worth a million words. Smile, it's all good! ;)

I just got done reading the entire thread. I cannot understand why some on this thread feel the need to make the remarks they do. If you do not agree, then present your case with respect to the other persons point of view. Each side has those that are going to maintain their choice no matter what evidence is presented. Read, post your side, but do it politely. At times this thread sounds like an argument one would hear on an elementary school playground.

RMB I agree with you! ;)

Beastt...not here, we have hashed this out in other threads, you know I am a beef producer and you take jabs at me whenever you see fit and it gets really old. Please just lay off. You have your opinions and we need to leave it at that. I do not agree with you and probably NEVER will and that's ok. I am ok with that, evidently you are not.
I come to CF to relax, say Hi to friends and be happy, not to argue and disrespect others. Now good day and once again...God bless!

OH and I did not read the entire thread, I actually popped in to say hi to a friend (and even apologized for interrupting the thread to say hi to my friend) If I had seen that Beastt was here in this thread, quite honestly I would have NOT posted here, he seems to stir trouble when he can and I feel this is NOT the place to do it. No site on CF should have to have that kind of disruptment. CF is an awesome place I am proud of and have supported financially and have made many friends on and there are a certain few people here that like to get others upset and I wish it could be stopped. Makes me sad. :(

Smile? ... this is war angelnstix and nothing to laugh at! This thread isn't about spreading the wonderful news of the vegetarian lifestyle and all its accompanying health benefits... this is about crushing the will of those wretched humans who chose to slay innocent animals for their own selfish and disgusting purposes. Animals with as much right to life as we have... animals with a free will and a level of consciousness by in large not much different or potentially superior to our own. This thread isn't specifically about whether humans consuming animal carcasses through their orifaces is healthy or not. This is about animals right to LIFE... and the rampant usery, rape and "genocide" we as a single species here on earth exhibit toward all other vertebrae and invertebrae life forms. Now if you'll excuse me... my fish^stix are finished cooking and are ready to be ravished in my oriface before being liquified in my stomach and intestines where their innocent and exquisite protein structures will be savaged denatured into individual amino acids and then passed into my bloodstream before being "used" (against their will no less) in the rebuilding of my own wretchedly selfish musculature... vile thing that I am. ... am I getting warm yet? It must be wonderful to live the life of a autotroph... living purely off the suns rays... hurting no one. Perhaps some day, if we're lucky, we'll all be green GMO organisms walking around at peace with all life in the world basking in the suns rays all day long.

ps: I was going to post a picture of a basted yam angelnstix... but I didn't want to scare you.

This is just a reminder for discussion to remain on topic here... the OP was asking for sources on information against Vegetarianism. This will NOT turn into a meat-eater bashing thread. Please be respectful of all our members and their beliefs... including their eating habits.

Thank you for your cooperation. :)

I can't find anything against vegetarianism. Hum... I wonder why that is?

Well you know, it is a fact that meat eating is not really that healthy. So that may be why there is not really anything on the web againt vegetarianism. I did find this site, which i'm downloading the video right now on the animal life of the factory farms.

Check it out if you like >>> http://www.meetyourmeat.com/

Wow!! I just saw this video, and this is beyond sick-o!!

Peace
