How is it intolerant? This isn't an either/or concept. Just because an action does not show intolerance does not mean that it must therefore show tolerance. A protest is a protest. It is neither intolerant nor tolerant - it's simply a voicing of displeasure. Tolerating something does not mean that you must never speak out against it or try to change peoples' minds about it.

JD Vance's visit to Vermont ski resort interrupted by pro-Ukraine demonstrators after Zelenskyy exchange​

Vance, who brought his family to Sugarbush Resort in Warren, Vermont, was greeted by a half-mile gauntlet of protesters holding pro-Ukraine signs Saturday. There appeared to be hundreds in the crowd.

The protesters carried signs calling Vance "Nazi scum," accusing him of being a "traitor" and telling him to "go ski in Russia."

He was also greeted to people skiing in drag as well as a resort that couldn’t open fully for the day because everybody called out sick, LoL.

The signs have been priceless. My fav was “they said the VP was visiting, but I don’t see Musk, just some guy named Vance.”

I had to work, but I did my part just in case he came by.

Fox News was also told Vance and his family planned to stay at a four-star inn near the resort, but they moved to an undisclosed location after seeing the ruckus.

The Pitcher Inn is 4-star…? LoL, k. It’s as expensive as a 4-star, I’ll give you that.

And he moved to an Airbnb off of the road by the Gatehouse. It’s not a state secret.

So what? He's a public figure. It comes with the territory. If you have a public itinerary and do something that makes a lot of people really unhappy, they're going to show up in places that they know you'll be and tell you about it.

Yep, as long as they stayed off of private property and respected local laws and ordinances.

Vermont's politics don't bracket within those simplistic categories. It's primarily a rural state with high rates of gun ownership.

Oh, you mean like the "tolerance" the Right showed election officials in 2020, when they made death threats to election officials in various swing states, made death threats, etc.; to the point that many election officials had to get security, and some even had to move because of threats at their home. By that standard, it would seem the protestors in Vermont were very tolerant.
