I have no idea what you're talking about. All the complaints in this thread have been about how Vance and his family were "threatened" and "put in danger" by a peaceful protest.Actually I don't know why I asked that, because the big deal seems to be more over Vance wanting to ditch them.
As was the serenity of Vance's Vermont ski trip. That's what protests do - they're disruptive. If they weren't, no one would pay any attention to them. However, disrupting the serenity of a public figure's vacation is neither violent, nor intolerant, nor threatening. Nor is it a cause for outrage.However the fist line of the first article is:
"The serenity of President Barack Obama's Hawaiian vacation was rattled"
