CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, I got my 12 days of Valentine's (if you know us on FB you saw most of the stuff lol), everything from chocolate-dipped strawberries to homemade cinnamon rolls to balloons to chocolates to cards... the most incredible Valentine's ever! I guess we had a lot of years to make up for, when neither of us had a Valentine lol. And on Valentine's Day, he made a DELICIOUS dinner, along with homemade bread and homemade jam... omgoodness. SO hard to lose weight around this man

I like all the physical intimacy surrounding the day. There is the compensatory gratitude, holiday, and success sex that comes when you get her just the right gift.
And since we finally get to go out to dinner Saturday. :-D

Its a joke of sorts.
My wife & I are mods on another popular Christian forum. A guy came along telling how he asked his wife for oral sex every day especially after he did something for her that he thought she would like. Since then it has degenerated into a joke in our house.

Provide support/sources that it's pagan OR satanic, if you please. And not websites...because, I could make websites that say "pigs fly and are purple," but that doesn't make it true.

just read this. i dont have the time to write on the origins on vday/Christmas, but this outlines it perfectly. You will also need to do more research on people like valentine, nimrod, cupid etc because they all cross each other.
