Have we now reduced expectations to "a significant share" (since nothing on this forum/survey is proving out the idea that they're "more likely" than other people or that there is a "correlation")?
What I mean is that among the anti-vaxxers, I'ld expect people to be statistically be more likely to hold fundamentalist beliefs as opposed to the rest of the population.
I'm not saying anything about how high or low that number would be.
Just that it will be higher (in %) then the rest of the population.

The most egregious example of anti-vaxxers are the Pakistani Taliban, who are almost single-handedly preventing the final stages of the global eradication of polio by attacking health workers who are administering the vaccine to kids in KPK.
They believe it is a western conspiracy to sterilise Muslims. Many people have been murdered for this idiocy.
But fundies though. The OP didn't mention ChristianityYeh, but again, we're finding almost anyone OTHER THAN fundamentalist Christians being involved in the anti-vaxxing movement.
Well, really, that's the way the word is normally used. I'd be very interested to be corrected on that point if the OP had members of non-Western religions in mind, especially since we can hardly tell who the fundamentalists are when it comes to Islam. Then too, the OP spoke of the issue in this way--"vaccine efficacy / safety"--and asked for the readers if they'd vaccinate their own family members. Are there any Taliban members here at CF?But fundies though. The OP didn't mention Christianity
Hopefully not, but there are Muslims, as well as followers of other religions. The OP can confirm his intentions if he reads this.Well, really, that's the way the word is normally used. I'm struggling to think of a religion with more obviously identifiable fundiessince we can hardly tell who the fundamentalists are when it comes to Islam
And particularly on whether or not there is a correlation between religiosity and anti-vaxing. I'm not convinced there will be.
Autism is caused by Teddy Bears not by vaccination.
I think it's only in one direction.

my mom once rode on the subway. soon after she became lethargic then diabetic. subways cause diabetes. My wife's interior designer's son was 12 years old and wanted to play football. He had to get a physical and then get a shot (vaccine). The days following his shot, he became very lethargic and then autistic. That 12 year old, healthy boy, who wanted to play football is now 32 years old, lives at home and must be cared for by others.
