  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

For what it's worth, the tissue that is used is from about 30 or more years ago. The cell lines are several generations removed from the original tissue.

Not all of them. Did you read just one article?

After over 30 years of research on these and HUNDREDS OF OTHER ABORTED FETAL CELL LINES, Hayflick concluded in another 1997 report that the effort to achieve immortality was “futile”. [19]

New Aborted Fetal Cell Lines Underway

So, what happens when the current cell lines expire? One might assume that the logical step would be to use an ethical source to replace them; however, that is not the case. Realizing that WI-38 was rapidly approaching its finite lifespan, the Coriell Institute for Medical Research signed an agreement with the National Institute on Aging to establish and bank new fetal cell lines for future replacement of existing fetal cell lines. It was the implicit intention of the researchers to establish this new fetal cell line for future vaccine production. Writes Dr. Christine Beiswanger, PhD, Assistant Director and Associate Professor for Coriell:

The cell line developed at Coriell, identified as IMR-90 was the first of several lines planned in support of NIA research programs...IMR-90 was developed and characterized in such a way as to parallel WI-38 as closely as possible to minimize the variables in replacing WI-38 within ongoing laboratory programs ... The IMR-90 cell line, like WI-38 was derived from the lung tissue of a human female embryo following therapeutic abortion ...Since the goal of establishing this cell line was a replacement for WI-38 in vaccine production, virus yields were compared for IMR-90, WI-38 and MRC-5 for a number of different viruses including varicella zoster, herpes simplex, vesicular stomatitits virus and cytomegalovirus.” [20]

Ok so we've broken some ground as to the aborted fetus thing. The next question is this: why would you want to put that in your child? I cannot fathom it. I don't remember what I was doing, or when this took place, but I remember God asking me one day, do you trust Me, or do you trust in the works of men? That right there made up my mind for me. Some people call me crazy, some people think I'm "endangering all of America." I look it as I am protecting my two precious gifts of God. Why fix it if it ain't broke? God gave us land to grow vegetables and what did we do? We toxified it with pestisides and fertilizers. For what it's worth, I don't trust the government. I would rather put the lives and health of my children into God's hands, then to put them into human hands. We've already screwed so much up, it's just going to get worse from here.

I apologize for the way I worded my last post. I in no way intended to make parents who vax feel like they've done something wrong. Shannon thank you for pointing out my rudeness. Please forgive me, but I feel that I deserve the same respect as the person who does vax. Also, I did not intend to reflect that anyone who vax doesn't trust God. I apologize for that assumption. My choice not to vaccinate was one made after much prayer and a lot of reading and research. Something any parent would want to do. I figured that if I was going to read 25 books on HAVING a baby, I should at least read some on vaccinations as well, because they are a big part of a child's life. Again I do apologize. I hope that there are no hard feelings. I will depart myself from this thread.

its interesting that there were many posts in this thread that condemned people who have not vax, but nobody asked them to stop judging us. I chose not to vacinate I researched it and believe strongly that I did the right thing for my child. In our state there is exemptions nobody can make you immunize your children and I would be very upset if they did.
