  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Oh, give us a break. It's so much easier to say "racist" than "xenophobic bigot" or "crypto-religious ethno-nationalist" even though the latter terms are, strictly speaking, more accurate. Don't be so pedantic.

My old uncle used to call people like that "bigot butts," as in "I'm no bigot, but..."

I have relatives like that. My grandfather use to say that he didn't have a problem with black people (he called them the N word) and didn't mind having them around as long as they knew their place.

Apparently Donald Trump can't possibly be guilty of racist behavior against minorities (despite the well documented history proving otherwise) because he took a photo-op picture with some famous black people. The fact that he received an award and posed for a photo says little about whether or not he has racist tendencies and it doesn't change his questionable behavior toward minorities. It also doesn't change the fact that he was sued by the government for housing discrimination against black people or the fact that he finally disavowed David Duke after he staunchly denied knowing who Duke is.

Trump disavows David Duke endorsement after ducking question earlier

Donald Trump Jr.: My Dad Can't Be Racist Because He Took Pictures With Black People

On a side note, I can post a meme with Trump taking photo-op pictures with black people too.

Fact Check: Was Donald Trump Never Accused of Racism Before Running Against Democrats?

Remember when they used to screech over the number of times Obama would say "I" in his speeches?

Counting words seems to be a fixation among the Right... why is that?

20 plus times an hour on average - once every 3 seconds two media stations called the President a racist.

You do know that 20 times an hour is once every 3 minutes, not once every 3 seconds, right?

Seems pretty hard for some to say Black Supremacist or talk about Black Nationalist groups that formed BLM, and other groups that target individuals based on their race and ethnicity as well.

Did you do the math yourself? Hint: every 3 secs comes to 120 times an hour - seems unlikely.

Wanna discuss racism, lets discus what it actualy is:

racism

noun
rac·ism | \ ˈrā-ˌsi-zəm also -ˌshi- \
Definition of racism

1: a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.

If someone believes that race accounts for differences in human character, or ability, and that a particular race is superior to others they are racist.

Individuals that discriminate or exercise prejudice based on race, are racist.

Anyone who holds to the belief that each race has distinct, and intrinsic attributes, are racist.

Anyone who justifies actions against another race, for perceived wrongs by that race against their own race, is racist.

Black Supremacists? I don't think I've heard about that. I bet it's a REAL THREAT.

The Nation of Islam recently made news after Kori Ali Muhammad shot three white men in Fresno, California, and made references on social media to language also used by the Nation.

The Nation follows many of the practices of traditional Islam and is an advocate of black nationalism. The Southern Poverty Law Center has labeled the organization a hate group.

@carlv_52

So, here we have just 3 examples of only 3 organisations (there are others) that actively teach, proselytize, and enact violent acts against whites.

Here's the question: Why aren't we hearing more about black supremacists that practice black nationalism?

Please explain to me, which one of these groups is not racially motivated?

Or at least explain how the actions of either of these groups is excusable because of the race they are opposing.

One formed in response to racial oppression and the other wants to enact racial oppression.

And the next question will be, which one of these two groups is experiencing increased political power under the present administration?

My guess would be the ones protected by law, and society. One of these groups gets a pass. Even politicians justify their actions.
