I think that this one single move puts every single American back in the crosshairs for another terrorist attack. He should be investigated for this. He released five of the most dangerous Taliban leaders there are and after they'd been tortured for over a decade. They're not loving us. But they have promised to return to the fight.

And what Obama did sends a message to every terrorist group on the earth. Now, under this president, America does negotiate with terrorists.

I did not conclude the hidden agenda in Armoured's question was we deserved it, but rather it had to be America's fault. And until he says otherwise I still feel that was the point of his question.

My point concerning WC's response was it was valid, even if it made an extrapolation.

Suppose also that they then proceed to use those drones and planes to strike ground targets that said country claims to be 'terrorists'.

Civilians deaths, or "collateral damage" happens.

Also consider Iran meddling with the internal affairs of America.

The folks that hate us because we have killed civilians in their countries are not interested in trying to understand our point of view.

Unfortuantely, although capable of doing so, we are unwilling to look at deeper issues and better understand how they think.
