17 May 2025 – Afghanistan​

Believers in Afghanistan are subject to random searches of their phones, and homes can be searched for Bibles and Christian literature. Pray that the Lord would protect them and give them wisdom when faced with these situations.

16 May 2025 – Afghanistan​

Pray for brothers ‘Zabi’ and ‘Aalem’, who were part of the same house fellowship. ‘Aalem’ was arrested and under torture told the Taliban about Zabi. Thankfully Zabi and his family have managed to flee the country.

15 May 2025 – Afghanistan​

Pray for ‘Amir’, who was imprisoned for 10 days, kicked, beaten, stripped naked and doused with cold water for his faith in Christ. His family paid for his release.

14 May 2025 – Laos​

Thank the Lord for our partner who regularly gathers together Christian leaders from across Laos for times of fellowship, teaching and encouragement.

13 May 2025 – Laos​

Pray for ‘John’, who oversees the work of our partner in Laos: that he would have wisdom and courage to make the right decisions for the ministry. He says, ‘We take every risk except unnecessary risks.’

12 May 2025 – Laos​

Pastor ‘Vong’ was the top witch doctor in his village before he encountered Christ. Since his conversion he has experienced much opposition from the head of the village and was imprisoned for five weeks. Pray that his faithful witness would continue.

11 May 2025 – Laos​

Pastor ‘Samane’ was threatened with a gun by his irate father-in-law, who subsequently kicked Samane and his family out of their home. Pray that God would continue to provide for them.
