All sizzle, no steak.
First of all, I was merely asking for full context citations of Trump declaring that the media, by and large, is the enemy of the people. That was all. There was no intent of "wiggling out of it". You failed to do so. Instead, you cited where he said that fake news is the enemy of the people, (which I agree with and so should you and every other rational citizen), and third party accusations of him claiming that. Of course it only took you 30 seconds ... it was lazy chopping of soundbites. A 3rd grader could do as much, because their thinking lacks nuance. Adults shouldn't have that problem.
If I were a reporter following you around every day, and I only reported anything that could possibly be construed as negative, and interpreted anything you said or did in the worst, most evil way possible, including taking things out of context, omitting any positives, in order to bolster my pre-concieved image of you I'm trying to portray, would you consider me an objective journalist or a propagandist?
Now settle down and try again. This time, put some grownup thought into it.
I am not falling for your nihilistic game. What I posted more than refutes what you are trying to do and or your request.
You are trying to move the goal posts while simultaneously trying to warp reality. Asking for "full context citations" is a nice way to deflect because full context citations are essentially infinite. No matter what I post you can always claim "Well, what happened 2 minutes before that and 3 minutes before that and 5 minutes before that...."
And to be clear, I'm sure out of all the dribble and nonsense he spouts he may have uttered once or twice over the years that Fake News is the enemy of the people. Big deal. The real problem the MAJORITY of the time, 99% of the time, he equates entire news organizations as "Fake News". He has declared CNN, NBC, ABC, The New York Times, the Washington Post, etc Fake News. He has not said, "Hey, this article or that segment was wrong and therefore fake news." No. He does not do that. He magnamiously declares the entire org fake news and it is disingenuous to a criminal degree to pretend otherwise and try to wiggle him out of what he said.
Here is what is happening. Trump makes these ridiculous claims on a daily basis and Trump Supporters (including you) trip all over themselves figuring out "Someway" to justify, wave away, explain, and or ignore what he says plain as day.
In your case you are trying to ignore what I posted claiming "Full quote citations" which are impossible because no matter what I post you will simply claim "that isn't a full citation".
Here is a much better criteria.
How about we judge Trump on exactly what he says? How about we treat him like we treat any other rational adult? HOw about you and other Trump Supporters use the very basics of common sense and human decency when judging all mighty Trump. Use the same standard you use for Obama how about that?
This is what is so infuriating about arguing with Trump supporters. You warp reality and the laws of cognitive physics in your attempt to defend the indefensible.
I posted clips of Trump saying exactly what I said he said and you are trying to hand wave it and spin it away. Sorry, any objective person can see through exactly what you are doing.
If we were to warp reality to the absolute limit of imagination Trump is still way in the wrong. He does not properly distinguish between Fake News, i.e. news that is incorrect, versus entire reputable organizations. He would easily be guilt of a 1000 to 1 ratio of claiming entire news orgs to be fake news vs distinguishing between incorrect reports.
Since you are into playing this game,
how about you find me one post or clip of Trump saying exactly what you are claiming he is saying. Find me a clip of him saying, "The New York Post and CNN or legitimate media however they've gotten XYZ wrong and XYZ is Fake news"
