I don't think either side seems to like being challenged, there are plenty of Christians who get just as defensive as non-christians. I just never see you acknowledge when the Christians do it, I.E. the two or three Calvinists who keep yapping in E&M.

I wouldn't call it cumbayah by any means, if you're speaking literally, I do not support pedophiles being childcare workers, that's a clear conflict of interest, and I consider pedophilia to be wrong. However, if a pedo tried to justify it to me, I'd let him speak, but I would probably shoot down his points, he would not convince me, and I would still end the conversation with the conclusion that he is a sick mother who needs to be put down or put away.

My Sergeant, a prior service Marine DI and one of the most understanding friendly folks I've ever met once told me "When dialogue fails, it's time for violence." I can't say I disagree, talking and tolerance will fail sometimes, and that's when the intolerant side needs to get it's ass handed to it a little.

Then again I'm under arms and at work right now manning the control room, so I guess that's a product of my job, which I love, and my environment. I have a personal opinion, but I will put that to the side to do my job almost absolutely, up until we get some illegal order like busting down the doors of all civilian gun-owners to take their weapons, when that day comes, we'll see which soldiers are dedicated to this country, and which ones are dedicated to the government.

What do you think of the Calvinists in threads rolling around here who basically go "THE BIBLE IS THE TRUTH AND THAT'S IT, YOU ARE WRONG AND GOD WILL JUDGE YOU."? That isn't really something that contributes at all.
