Unsettling dream

I had an unsettling dream about a leader in my church, basically felt trapped and intimidated by them in the dream.

It's only a dream but our church is having a time of prayer and fasting.

How much weight should I put on a dream?

if you felt intimidated and felt like you were trapped because of them, i feel like they're limiting your talents and skills.

You need to have a talk with them and tell them how you feel about not growing and how you would like to serve and what areas you'd like to serve in.

It may speak of a spirit of intimidation that may be working against you.

Is it because the leader is operating in that spirit? I can't say. The dream is just revealing how you feel, but it is very possible.

When a spirit of intimidation, or any spirit that is not of God, starts to effect us, we need to reject that spirit by the power of the Holy Spirit. We do not wrestle with flesh and blood. It is spiritual warfare.

And people can be symbolic in our dreams, but not always. I personally would not get suspicious, but be alert for your enemy goes about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.

Reject any spirit that is not of God. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but love, power, and sound mind.

In summary, may just be a warning regarding a spirit of intimidation looking to operate against you. Pray, reject any spirit not of God, and stay strong in Him.
