That's certainly an opinion. The courts seem to disagree, and mainly in cases where, for example, a GOP-led legislature specifically researched which IDs were most difficult for certain minority groups to get before choosing which IDs to require to vote. I'll leave it as an exercise for the reader which IDs they chose to mandate.If it's not discriminatory to require a vaccination card and ID to eat at McDonald's, it's not discriminatory to require a voter registration card and ID to vote in an election.
