Ummmmmmmmmmm...........I'll add this: But the souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them. They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead; and their passing away was judged an affliction and their going forth from us, utter destruction. But they are in peace. For if before men, indeed, they be punished, yet is their hope full of immortality; chastised a little, they shall be greatly blessed, because God tried them and found them worthy of himself. As gold in the furnace, he proved them and as sacrificial offerings he took them to himself. In the time of their visitation they shall shine, and shall dart about as sparks in stubble; they shall judge nations and rule over peoples, and the Lord shall be their King forever!!!!!! From the Book of Wisdom, Chapter 3, verses 1 to 8.
I like the part about them shining in their time of visitation! Now how does one "visit" with a Saint? Why praying to them of course! Have a nice conversation with your favorite Saint and pleeeeeeease don't forget their Queen either! That's why I underlined the full of immortality part - get it? Full of grace/full of immortality?!? I rely on the graces of Mary most of all in my prayer life. ummm is that too far a stretch for some? Isn't there a Greek word that explains full of grace? I can't spell it right. I think it is theotokos, but I'm not sure on the spelling. Anyone know Greek for full of immortality? Oh dear!
Peace and all good,
Gail
