CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

He's still on the "complexity implies design" schtick despite the fact that he hasn't supported it with any evidence in any of the multiple threads where he brought it up.
As we all know, through common sense, assertion equals fact.

You cannot give an example of a pump which has the complexity, and functionality, of the human pump without using "design". It's simple enough.

Here, we used microarrays containing all 10base pair sequences to examine the binding specificities of 104 distinct mouse DNA binding proteins representing 22 structural classes. Our results reveal a complex landscape of binding, with virtually every protein analyzed possessing unique preferences. Roughly half of the proteins each recognized multiple distinctly different sequence motifs, challenging our molecular understanding of how proteins interact with their DNA binding sites. This complexity in DNA recognition may be important in gene regulation and in the evolution of transcriptional regulatory networks."

It's not semantics games. Maybe I wasn't specific enough in my request. Give an example of a man made pump which is comparable to the human pump and isn't designed. Your use of "design" should suggest something.
