I was told that it would be something historically based. That's all I know of it, so I guess we'll just wait for Whitelily to clarify a bit more.

Okay, so I was thinking historical, mid-1700's in France. I was thinking that we would be based in court life and court drama.

I won't be on a lot because I'm in Hawaii and we're trying to locate our luggage, which is in Hilo, we're in Kona, my mom and siblings are coming in tonight in Hilo. And the getting to Hawaii was an adventure in itself. All flights were booked, we went to the wrong airport, Sacramento and we were supposed to be in Oakland, my dad and I left CA without luggage so we could get here, leaving my mom and siblings in Oakland. Dad and I have no change of clothes, no make-up, shampoo, anything. We're living off my cousins' stuff. My mom was supposed to be on the flight after us so they got the luggage on the next flight, but the airline overbooked and they were on standby for the next three days. So they bought business class tickets to get here tonight at 1 or 2 am. This is the weirdest vacation I have ever been on.

I don't speak French...or really know much about France at all. It's one of those countries I never paid much attention to. I've no ideas at the moment.

Would the setting before during or after the French revolution? I know I saw Marie Antoinette's name.
Ever read The Scarlet Pimpernel? You could do some thing along that line.

It would be before, at the beginning of their rule. We don't have to speak French, but what you can do if you want to use French, go on babelfish. It's a translator that has english to french and you can use that for a little extra flavor. But I don't want anyone to actually PLAY the king and queen, they'll be NPCs. I want everyone to come up with their own characters, all over the board from servant to duke. Here's a list of rules and the character format.

1. Please use " for talking, I am the queen of the **, but "" just look better.

2. No gming, common rule I know, but some people do it anyway.

3. I don't care if you post one liners, but if you do, make sure they aren't the random, Sally walked down the hall, those bug me and do nothing to help the story.

4. Stick within the time period, don't randomly bring out a gun, if you need a weapon, use a rapier or dagger, unless you are a guard, then use a broad sword.

5. Romance is HIGHLY encouraged, this is France, the country of amor, but no nasty dances.

6. Don't ramble, I am the queen of de ramble, it's okay talking in OOC, but it doesn't belong in IC, unless your character is rambling.

7. Have fun!

App: Monde has dark brown hair, is well built, but is very clumsy at times. He is blind, giving him an overdeveloped sense of hearing, touch, and smell--sometimes making it appear as if he isn't blind at all.
Personality: Monde is nae very outgoing, but is quite friendly and talkative.
