Unable to Access CF except through a proxy server...

My IP address is 216.118.144.64

But I seem to be able to log in now, hope it sticks.

That would be me. I'm on a friend's computer, because I can't log in on my home's desktop or on my laptop. I'm relieved to know that I'm not the only one experiencing this.

I still can't get on of this post. I'm going to PM you my IP. Right now I'm using a proxy server and I still keep having to sign in when I go to certain areas of the forum, like this particular one.

if anyone else is having issues...please do a traceroute to Christianforums.com and pm the results to me. here's how.

if on windows:
1. go to start menu -> run
2. type in cmd and press "ok"
3. when the command prompt appears type in "tracert christianforums.com" (without the quotation marks)

it will trace the path your computer is taking to get to this site. copy and paste the results to me in pm.

I'm logged in on my laptop right now, after clearing off all the cookies. It took me a couple of tries though to post in here.

I am unable to bring up links within a post; they just won't connect.

I'm able to log in ok and post and everything, but this evenng when I went to feed my pets, I was logged out every time I clicked on 'Use this item'. It's funny cos last night I was able to feed them ok. I hope I don't have to do anything and it can be fixed ok as I'm not good with computer stuff.

Things cleared up pretty well last night for a bit. Now I'm back to using a proxy server. I haven't tried to feed the pets yet. I'm going to attempt that next.

I can't figure out how to copy and paste the results of my traceroute. It should be simple but my mouse won't highlight the results and I can't manually highlight the results using my keyboard either. And I am still having problems after doing all the recommended steps.

Last night I was able to feed pets but could not pull up the links in a thread (like our pet list with the individual links to pets/owners)

Some have mentioned taking out the WWW from the addy; I usually log in without it, but during this bug had only been able to get in by ADDING the WWW or with the proxy.

I seem to be at 100% so far this am.

Hopefully ALL of CF is at 100% soon; many thanks to the techies and Pauler for working on it, and for administrators for communicating progress and hints!

I've been out for a couple of days. I got in by adding the www to the address. Clearing cookies had no effect whatsoever. We'll see how long I can stay in....

I am logged on with safari cannot log on with my IE ...account... it kicked me out and I still cleared up my cookies... I will try to log on with IE again and see if I can...
