Those whom seek Christ through Mary do so by the use of rationale, and rationale is by nature a destructive adulteress.

Seeing as the second largest Christian confession asks the Theotokos to pray for them through the Mystery of the Communion of the Saints, and maintain steadfastly the Eastern mystical[/b] mindset rather than the rationalistic Western mindset which was formed in your 'Enlightenment' which the East was never adulterated with, your statement is false.

O_O what planet are you from?!
That makes no sense at all.
It is spot on!
I love Mary, but I don't talk to dead people or ask favors. I may emulate mentors actions here on earth that have passed, if they emulated to the best of their ability Christ.

Hmmm. sounds like sensible logic to me.
I guess since the largest religion in the world is______ I may as well join that one, it must be the right one.

""First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life, godly and respectful in every way. This is good, and pleasing to God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Tim. 2:1–4)"

That is as plain as one could put it. If you follow the scriptures, it is laden with passages that support prayers to saints (Mary Included) for intercessoin etc.

Cant deny fact.

My point was that you claimed that those who ask the Theotokos for her prayers are using 'rationale' to do so, not whether our confession is the best or even most correct one. You have no knowlege or authority to speak for our beliefs or praxis, or why we hold and do them. Stick to your own faith when speaking of such things.

Young man! does it show that this means anything other than praying for a fellow living Christian? Nope
If dead people whose souls have arisen to heaven could hear and respond to our requests that would make them diety, that is a spot I am not willing to place anyone but our Lord.

>_< I dont think you quite grasp it. That does not make them a diety. I think you should stick to your non-denominational faith. Dont try and degrade other denominations (which is what you are doing). I could go on, but whats the point. You dont obviously grasp logic.

Why not?

This is a debate forum, not a pander to the Roman Catholic Church forum.

On the contrary my young friend.

There is difference betweeen debate and saying
Those whom seek Christ through Mary do so by the use of rationale, and rationale is by nature a destructive adulteress.
.
That is an attack on someones faith. I see it that way.

And also, my age has nothing to do with my ability to think in a logical manner.

Nor does Scripture show that which you claim. You are postulating that there are two groups of Christians, two Churches, one of the living, and one of the dead. Yet Scripture plainly states that our God is the God of the living, not the dead. There is no Church of the dead, there is simply 'The Church', you are a member of it or you are not. My question to you is, are the Saints members of His Church ?

Yes alive in Christ, but make no mistake with the exception of a few all are dead.

Praying to saints and Mary is based on a bunch of guesses. You have to guess they hear you, guess they can act on your behalf, guess God want’s you to ignore His command to not talk to the dead (Scriptural) guess this is more profitable than just praying to GOD HIMSELF, and not just a waste of time.

I guess it all boils down to a series of guesses, doesn’t it? But yeah feel free....

Following you logic (If you could call it that) you guess god hears you as well? NOTHING about religion is Certain. If it was the world would ALL be christian.

YOur forgetting that Jesus used this statement to correct the Sadduucceess, who believed there is no spirit, or afterlife at all. They are still dead, or there is no resurrection of the dead.
