I find this to be the ultimate blasphemy, having all this Mary Spirit interaction at Communion, Mary was not even at the Last Supper and Communion is specifically for remembering the Body and Blood of Jesus and His Crucifixion!

.............'the more you let Mary act in your Communion the more Jesus will be glorified. The more you humble yourself and listen to Jesus and Mary in peace and silence - with no desire to see, taste or feel - then the more freedom you will give to Mary to act in Jesus' name and the more Jesus will act in Mary'

I had to have a cry when i read this one. Very sad.

Why keep looking up this stuff when it grieves you?

Seems like Catholics already explained this, and you're troubling yourself for no reason...

*lurk*lurk*
It's an afront to our Saviour, it must be addressed. This comes from a writing with the stamp of approval from the magisterium...It says what it says and those guys try to juggle it around to say and mean something other than what it says.

As the OP said...
Communion is specifically for remembering the Body and Blood of Jesus and His Crucifixion!

2 cor. 11:3 But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.

Altho I am Catholic, I have never read this, saw this before or been told by anyone, priest or member of the RC, any of this or that I should do what I just read. Maybe some other poster might answer this. Frankly, I haven't a clue.

Communion for me is union with my Lord.

Wishing you all a good day.

Jesus is drawing us to Himself at Holy Communion. Sometimes I think of His Blessed Mother and how proud she is at that moment, because her statue is in front of our church near the Tabernacle. Sometimes I think how wonderfully happy she is that she gave birth to the Savior of the World, and what joy and awe and honor that would bring her, now, as she watches from Heaven where she is at home with her Son, Jesus.

I imagine one can do or rather think any thought during communion. Officially acceptable what your link says? Naw. No one in all my time in the Church has even come close to anything like your link. First I heard of it is here from your link. Wonder who Fisheaters is it again? really are. I know I should go look again but they aren't important enough for me to read after I did the first time. Any Priest I have known would have me by the ear and give me what for rather bluntly and straighten me out then and there if I would say what is in your link.

For myself, I will show Mary respect. She is Christ's mom. After all, if the angel's (Gabriel documented) can show respect, I will do the same. Christ did also. So I will follow suit.

Wishing all a good weekend...

John 19:25-27
Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! 27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.
Jesus gave Mary to us. I know I show my mother the utmost respect. If mary is our mother, then arent we to show her the same respect as our earthly mother? Our lord told us shes our mother. Thats good enough for me.:liturgy:

Well that is great, but the fact still remains that this is a Saint, Roman Catholics are allowed to do Total Consecrations, and your priest would be wrong to discourage it.

:D Not just a priest but goodness, how many would I count. Started in the military and I moved often for a while. Two nations... Nah. They would either, one by one, or collectively, be very angry. Thinking of it gives me the chills. Shudder.

I am not going to argue or debate something that is not in any Catechism, or church doctrine I know. But I do wish you a great Sunday and may God bless you in every way.

There is nothing wrong with a Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Indeed, there is not. On this lazy Sunday afternoon I decided to look more into Fisheaters, consecration to Mary there etc. I would suggest that the whole site be looked at and not just a few words. Not even my quote below. Look at the whole site. Pay particular attention to the start of this paragraph. I do wish I was as trusting and obedient to God as Mary was.

http://www.fisheaters.com/totalconsecration.html

"[FONT=arial, helvetica, verdana, sans-serif] Jesus Christ is the one Mediator of man and God the Father, the only Person whose Blood saves us; but the most effective and beautiful way to Jesus is through the imitation of Mary and beseeching her to pray for us. Mary is not only the Christ's mother; she is our mother, and the Queen Mother of Christ's Kingdom. In the Old Testament, the Queen Mother held the title of gevirah and was the most powerful woman in the Davidic Kingdom, the one who acted as a mediatrix between the King and his people. Just as Queen Mother Bathsheba interceded with her son, King Solomon, on the part of those who took their pleas to her (3 Kings 2:19-20), Our Lady -- our Queen Mother -- intercedes for us with the King of Kings."

When I am at communion Mary is RARELY every mentioned.. Only once is her name brought up, and that is the "sinned against my own fault"(while tapping your heart), and that isn't even done everytime I go...

So no, you can gets your guns and knives and put them away.. the mention of Mary in communion is rarely there.. Communion is all about Jesus Christ.. Praying the Rosary is an optional thing you can do after mass, maybe about 6-8 people do it out of the 300-400 that go each sunday(I go to a big Cathedral, lol)

Also, saints do interceed.. if you don't believe that then well you don't believe the bible

in Revelation 5:8, where John depicts the saints in heaven offering our prayers to God under the form of "golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints." But if the saints in heaven are offering our prayers to God, then they must be aware of our prayers. They are aware of our petitions and present them to God by interceding for us.

And I would like to clear this off with a verse :

Paul says that Christians should interceed: "First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life, godly and respectful in every way. This is good, and pleasing to God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Tim. 2:1–4)

that verse kinda throws the "why do you pray to saints" down the tubes..lol

When you really look at it, its really hard to find anything wrong in the churchs doctrine.. that is, if you really search it out.. insteading of quoting fallible man-made books.. I could quote a ton of unbiblical stuff of Martin Luther if I wanted too..

Simon and Illain.. Im sure you've heard the quote.. "Don't throw stones at people in glass houses" :)

There is nothing wrong with a Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Those whom seek Christ through Mary do so by the use of rationale, and rationale is by nature a destructive adulteress.
