My mom is sick, cancer, and we thought it was gone but its back. I'm doing drugs again, and I am starting to get back into some bad sexual relationships....a lot of stuff that I thought I had put behind me...

 

I used to cut myself, and this past weekend some people saw the scars and were asking about it and freaking me out. And I just need prayer. I am getting so....scared.

you know what you are doing is wrong so FIGHT IT. God will help you resist the temptations if you ask Him.I was like you in that even though i was a Christain i kept committing a certain sin over and over. I will have to live with the conseuences of my behavior forever and several innocent people will to but i no longer have the desire to commit that sin again. but i had to get serious and start fighting back against satan to overcome it.

You started doing these self-destructive things AFTER you found out that the cancer is back? If so, it sounds like you do these things to cope with your problems. You might want to consider some more positive ways to do so. Can you think of any?

I know it is a coping mechanism....everything is....I cant figure out what I can do that will make me feel better that isnt bad.....
