I have family members who have been to Maui and Hawaii many times and they love it. I have yet to visit, but I plan to.

Warm tropical island, where one can dive and where it grows a lot of tropical flowers. Babynames in what language? I do not know Hawaiian names but Yours is great. John is a nice name Alicia, as well.

Lived on Kauai for a couple of years and visited Maui once. Maui was more fun but Kauai was more beautiful. Maui had better snorkeling and some amazing restaurants. And the people were more friendly.

Interesting Hawaiian Islands, interesting history also! They used to be an independent kingdom.

I've not heard of Maui as a person's name, but maybe it does exist as such.
