Want to explain? God made us to be physically attracted to people, and to have tastes. So I listed mine. God made alcohol, so what's wrong with what I said?Girls, just a quick note to tell you that I don't have one millimetre of respect for this kind of 'listing' from the side of us Christian guys, either. Just plain sick and pathetic from you, IP. Especially the 3rd one of these, "She's 21 or up and doesn't drink". You should be ashamed.
See my last post which is on the previous page, I think. Guys, you can't call yourselves gentlemen and write such carnal 'lists'of our girls! Christian guys! But really, see my better-articulated post on previous page.
And I don't take one word back from this.
And why did I pick these 5 of them? Well I picked the ones that can easily OFFEND the reader!!!!
Thanks dude - always my pleasure to bring it!always love the blunt honesty bro. and might i add, good list
And IP, I am just kinda curious why it is good for a girl to drink? I occasionally have a social drink, but I'd be completely happy to live without alcohol for the rest of my life. So why is that a turnoff?
From my personal experiences (not saying whether it's true in general or not, because I have no idea, this is just what I've noticed in my own life), the "I will never drink" attitude speaks to some kind of uptightness or rigidity, or a need to follow more rules and regulations than I do, as well as an inability to cut loose and have some real fun once in awhile

And if it's an issue related to either alcoholism or alcoholic genetics, I'm out, because any recovering alcoholic who's within my dating age (young) is going to have SERIOUS baggage that I can't deal with, and I don't want to breed alcoholic genetics into my family line.
Plus, I'm a connoisseur of fine wines, great microbrews, and spirits, and I want someone I can enjoy and taste them with, who will get what I'm talking about when I say I note a hint of this with some of that, with so and so mouthfeel and an aftertaste reminiscent of this.

Actually, Suo, answer me this. Do you, or do you not, physically, have your preferences in women? IE, preferred hair length, preferred face and body type, whatever. No matter how picky or open your preferences are, you do. And if you say you don't, you are a liar. Let he who is not guilty cast the first stone.
You're the only one who's offended. And, judging by your earlier posts in this thread, it is your problem. You said yourself that you have this image of Christian girls. Well, Suomi, it's EXTREMELY unfair of you to expect people to live up to an image, no matter how they helped you become a more confident and happy person. You need to get yourself to a mental state where you can accept this side of them, and still not let it bring you down. You can't expect people to live up to an image. It's not right, and trying to be someone you're not is exactly what the Bible commands us not to do.
You talk about speaking in a Christ-like manner, but I get the feeling Christ is quite a bit less offended by this than you are. He knows me and He doesn't expect me to live up to an image.

Hey Hope, did I not just say TWICE that I was making a personal statement and not speaking on the topic as a whole? So now you just insulted me for no reason. Very Christian attitude of you.
Matthew 7:1-4
Do Not Judge Others
“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. 2 For you will be treated as you treat others.[a] The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.[b]
3 “And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye[c] when you have a log in your own? 4 How can you think of saying to your friend,[d] ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye.
So instead of admitting that you took my post the wrong way, you're just going to 'refuse to debate'. convenient.
I forgot this one: Constantly talking on a wireless phone.
I saw one woman who didn't even put her phone down to pump gas.
If she is not careful she is going to pump diesel fuel into her car because she is not paying attention (I have seen it happen--I can't say if she was talking on the phone, but I have seen it happen).
