Why do you have such a big problem with evidence?

You know why the USGS stopped recording quakes under 4 unless they caused damage. There were so many it wasnt feasible anymore.

Look at the increase of mag 5 and over quakes "Quake Strength"
in correlation with "Number of Quakes"
Its a steady increase

This graph says that the average Magnitude is huge now,why? Because they have stopped recording all the smaller quakes, less than 4 mag quakes are not recorded unless they cause damage

Well after a flurry of large quakes over the last fortnight there now seems to be a lull, seems the EQ pattern has returned to normal.
I will keep you all posted, believers in EQs and those who dont as well.

Quake Expert: Earth Cracking Up

A leading earthquake scientist has warned that the planet could be cracking up after a series of massive quakes in just 48 hours.

Expert Gheorghe Marmureanu - from Romania's National Institute of Earth Physics - says 39 quakes had hit the globe within two days.

The series started with two massive quakes in Indonesia measuring 8.6 and 8.2 on the Richter scale rapidly followed by three more only slightly smaller in Mexico within hours.

"There is no doubt that something is seriously wrong. There have been too many strong earthquakes," said Marmureanu.

He added: "The quakes are a surprise that cannot be easily explained by current scientific knowledge. With the Indonesian quake for example, statistically, there should be one big earthquake in this part of Asia every 500 years. However, since 2004, there were already three quakes with a magnitude of over 8, which is not normal.

The Columbian volcano Nevado del Ruiz is now on RED alert

Colombia’s Interior Ministry has ordered the fire departments of 19 municipalities in the central Caldas and Tolima departments to be on high alert after the Colombian Geological Survey warned that it is “probable” that the Nevado del Ruiz volcano will erupt in the coming days or weeks.

The national director of the fire-fighting system called for a focus on high risk areas in or near the paths of rivers that originate in the Ruiz, whose levels may be elevated by pyroclastic fragments and melting ice.

Throw in Popocatepetl

Authorities in Mexico have raised the alert level for the Popocatepetl volcano southeast of Mexico City due to increasing activity. It's now at the fifth step on a seven-level warning scale.

The Mexican govt are looking at evacuating 19 million people if this gets any worse.
