Trying to split you up???

Do you ever feel like the world is against you and your SO? As if satan (maybe?) is throwing lots of things at you to try and split you up? Does anyone ever feel that way? Sometimes I feel like Satan is doing everything possible to stop our relationship from growing and our love getting stronger. Yet he always fails, cos we always grow stronger, especially after fights. Paul is worth everything though. But does anyone else feel this way?

Sort of. I dont feel like the world is trying to split us up (if it is it is failing miserably), but I do feel like ti is against us. However hard we try we rarely get to see each other. School is so busy for him so we didnt see each other during the school year. But he lives far away so he stayed for summer school for some extra time together, but it turned out to stay he had to work to pay the extra dorm time, so we lost almost all the free time he would have had while here. So arranged his schedule to have one day off work a week. But it turned out that that day he had off was the day before his test each week, so he had to study. It never works out. Now he is gone for the summer and I miss him miserably. But these things never hindered our relationship or caused us to fight.

I have been dating my fiance for 3 1/2 years...and his mom has never really fallen in love with the idea of us being together or of him having a girl in his life period. She used to really agaist us being together...when he announced our engagement to her she cried...tears of something other than joy!

But now that the wedding is 11 months away shes taking to the idea of having me as a daughter in law better.

Sometimes I feel that way, yes... But I just try to keep in mind that God's got things in His hands.

Yes, but in my case it was reality. Her parents didn't want us in relationship because me and her were not positive we should get married (we're 18). They hadn't heard from God that I was "the one" for her. So they broke us up all in the name of God's will. Needless to say, I was left without option except to back away because I did not want to bring emotional harm to her.

That was in May. It was a shame. Good thing God is sovereign.

It's never good to come between the person you love and their family either. It leads to bitterness, hate, and a whole lot of unneeded stress.

I know its satan in my case,and he will use any one , family, friends to TRY and break my s/o and I... we are broken up right now..... but we talk every day ...I believe that Satan is telling my s/o that breaking up is the right thing... I feel uncomfortable that we are broken up and that my s/o would still act like were together... we argue because of the demands he makes... and i have to remind him "we are not together"

Am I allowed to call my mother satan? Seriously, she HATES our relationship. Believe me kiddies, that's one position you don't want to be in.

She used to like him a lot, maybe more than I did! It surprised me because she never likes anyone. She has been such a jerk lately. I'll be married when I'm 40... older than that if she's around.

I was living in a different city last year for school and had a boyfriend, someone she never met, and she hated him! So I was surprised when she liked Paul... but lately it's been different and she's her old self again. I've been seeing him since March and had no problems until lately.

She said he will have to start paying me money to see me because he doesn't have a car and I do.
