Ya, it is.. But, not to the extent that it is in the US.
No, that's not true. A few of the nations that have higher inflation than the U.S.:
Turkey
Argentina
Russia
U.K.
Germany
Italy
Spain
Mexico

Did you really not know that?

I do the food shopping for my wife and myself. The prices have gone up from
my experience, but also from the report on the local news just yesterday.
Prices have not gone up that much. The problem is people buying it and trying to resell it. Look at what happened with Taylor Swift. Washington needs to do something to stop the scalpers.

My post was made on November 11. Price increases have slowed down and gas prices have gone down.

However, this is the result of Biden releasing more from the national oil reserve. The fear is, if an emergency
comes, the nation will be short of oil reserves needed to get through it.

Any rate, the Feds raised interest rates again, which will begin to show up in a couple of months.

There is a recession coming, no two ways about it. The inventory of houses for sail, is high and it's taking
longer to sell a house than last year.

There is a ripple effect that will take place, especially as companies have slowed down hiring and some like
Amazon, have started laying off people.

Trump can fire people , DeSantis cant, due to re-election statis. If these are the hypothetical choices , first Trump, then DeSantis.
Trump can't fire members of Congress, which is why I knew when he was elected, as a CEO of a business, he had
a lot to learn about government and politics. Obviously, he failed that part of his presidency.

For me, its the unelected career "policy makers" that can go through up to twelve presadents in a career. Those need firing. Trump can , Desantis cant, they know this, and its why "this is a subject ".

The issue is the same as it was for Jimmy Carter when he became president.

He had no clout in Congress, even with the Democrats. As a result, he had
to give them everything they asked for, which brought is to double digit
inflation, double digit interest rates and long gas lines.

A president has to have clout with members of Congress, especially those
in his own party. Trump is going to have a hard time with both Republicans
and of course Democrats.

Personally, I believe liberty is on the way down with our government. It
worse now than it's ever been, but will get worse as Trump tries to get
the GOP nomination. The Democrats have already started the mudslinging
against Desantes, as they're afraid his popularity will grow and get him
the nomination. This won't happen as long as Trump runs.

I would like to see Republicans choose DeSantis as the 2024 nominee. Not sure if they will, Trump still has a large following. It's not large enough to win the presidency any longer IMO, but it might be large enough to win the Republican nomination. But Trump should go away, he's had his moment, and it's time to move on.

I remember the delegate crises caused by the GOP in 2016 too. This let me know we are in a uniparty gov. Trump might try running independant as a way to go back to nation building instead of global building. I think his cabinet choices were national and a few global corperations and that is unexceptable to the uniparty . However, we know its more complicated than these musings good sir. Right now, keeping an eye on this Trump tax debaucle were when they post em, they open the door to Biden, Obama too.
