There were actually a lot of Jan 6th arrests, and a good number of 2020 election arrests, and a few Russian collusion arrests.

But MTG is thinking about these topics from the Bizarro world perspective.

Obviously, the reason most of these things have zero arrests is there were no chargeable crimes.

And yes, it would be helpful if Trump and his stand-ins stopped talking about these things as though they were about to 'get the bad guys'.

It's almost like Rep. MTQ has been absorbing rhetoric about "trusting the plan" and waiting for the "strom" of arrests to come.

House Oversight chair issues subpoenas for Epstein files...​

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer issued numerous subpoenas on Tuesday -- including one to the Department of Justice for the complete Jeffrey Epstein files and another for depositions with former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

"While the Department undertakes efforts to uncover and publicly disclose additional information related to Mr. Epstein and Ms. Maxwell's cases, it is imperative that Congress conduct oversight of the federal government's enforcement of sex trafficking laws generally and specifically its handling of the investigation and prosecution of Mr. Epstein and Ms. Maxwell," Comer wrote in a subpoena to Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Donald Trump Changes His Mind on Jeffrey Epstein Lawsuit​

President Donald Trump's lawsuit against Rupert Murdoch has taken a further twist after the pair agreed that the media mogul could delay his deposition until after a dismissal ruling.

Trump's legal team previously said Murdoch should be deposed as soon as possible, given his advanced age, adding that he had "suffered recent significant health scares." However, it appears that Trump and Murdoch have agreed that the deposition can wait. If the case is not dismissed, it could be months until either 94-year-old Murdoch or Trump, 79, are deposed.

President Donald Trump, addressing the Wall Street Journal report, wrote on Truth Social in July: "The Wall Street Journal, and Rupert Murdoch, personally, were warned directly by President Donald J. Trump that the supposed letter they printed by President Trump to Epstein was a FAKE and, if they print it, they will be sued.

Vance expected to host Epstein strategy dinner with Bondi, Blanche, Patel​

It's one of many meetings that has consumed the White House and top administration officials as they attempt to quell the fallout from their handling of the Epstein files and as pressure mounts for the DOJ and the White House to be transparent about what Maxwell said in her nine hours of meetings last month with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.

Attorney General Pam Bondi, Blanche, FBI Director Kash Patel and White House chief of staff Susie Wiles are expected to attend the session with Vance, the sources said.
