How much good does Trump have to do for you to consider that God Almighty is really using him to benefit the Church and America? You seem to be under the false notion that a leader who is not genuinely saved (regenerated in Christ) cannot benefit the Chruch and a nation? Has God Almighty revealed to you when He can or cannot begin to change a man or women?

Absolutely.

I don't know how many Christians understand or use proxy praying, but I and a relative have been standing in the gap in prayer for Trump. The Lord revealed to myself and another (and apparently to others as well) that He would hold the darkness back if His CHruch would pray for our president and our nation. If that is done, He said he would hold back the darkness and heal our land.

Proxy praying is described in God's word and simply involves person A volunteering to stand in the gap for person B. Person A is then prayed over as if it is person B that is actually present and being prayed for. There are other principles that are to be considered in proxy praying, but that is the jist of it.

America did not need false hope........blessings would have come......had REPENTANCE COME
we should have been grave and sincere and tried to CORRECT the church
instead we were just worried about the easy life and scared of persecution..........
the churches prayers were heard
but only delusion the answer when none repented

Your comparison is far off the mark. In order for your comparison to be adequate, it would need many and real points of commonality to be present. Your comparison lacks most of these. In addition, you are assuming that Christian Trump supporters are putting their trust in a man. That is simply not true. I know God Almighty selected Trump and will continue to guide him. It is God, working through the prayers of the Saints, that is moving upon and in Trump.

Although I would have preferred a genuinely saved man to have won the primaries, I will not assume that there was enough Cristian prayer going up for the election process during the Primaries to accomplish that. If there was not enough prayer cover to bring in a genuine Christian (regenerated/justified in Christ) during the primaries, Trump was the next best choice.

Also, you and many others continue to ignore or forget that it might be Michael Pence who eventually takes the Office. Maybe this has been God's plan all along. In such a scenario, Pence will have bypassed the direct voting process. However, I do believe that Trump will most likely remain in Office for most if not all of the 4 year term.

There is now more prayer going up for our nation and its leaders than there was during the primaries, I believe. I have seen evidence for this.

No bona-fide, real prophet has uttered a true prophecy that America has crossed a point requiring imminent judgment. America has not reached a point of imminent judgement.

Except for the the necessity of repentance, your Nineveh analogy is fallacious. America with its multitudes of real, practicing, praying Christians is not equal to Nineveh in terms of its citizens and thus its spiritual condition. Do you think there were a multitude of praying Christians in Nineveh standing in the gap for their nation? Have you not read where God would have spared Sodom and Gomorrah if there had been an adequate presence of Saints? There is a strong presence of praying saints in the US.

There is enough Scriptural support concluding that the "last days" began in Apostolic times. It appears as if you are preaching contemporary, inevitable decline. No such thing exists.

Perhaps you have been listening to Chuck Missler and other prominent theologians/teachers that are erroneously preaching inevitable doom and gloom as a precondition to the 1 Thess. 4:17 event?
