....from earlier today, another witness' testimony revealed:

The threat from President Donald J. Trump to his vice president, Mike Pence, was clear and direct: If you defy my effort to overturn the 2020 election by certifying the results, your future in Republican politics is over.

“Mike, this is a political career killer if you do this,” Mr. Trump told Mr. Pence by phone on the morning of Jan. 6, 2021, according to the White House valet who was with the president for much of the day and told Congress he had overheard the conversation.

The testimony of Mr. Trump’s valet, provided to the now-defunct House Jan. 6 Committee in 2022 but not previously released publicly, offers a rare firsthand look into the former president’s behavior in the hours before, during and after a mob of his supporters stormed the Capitol seeking to halt the certification of President Biden’s victory.

In the valet’s account, laid out in a transcript obtained by The New York Times, an agitated Mr. Trump pressured Mr. Pence to overturn the election and stewed about Mr. Pence’s refusal for hours after violence engulfed Congress. Told that a civilian had been shot outside the House chamber amid the mob attack, he recalled, Mr. Trump appeared unconcerned.
All stuff we've heard before. Yawn.

Actually, this is the first public release of the Valet's testimony. So while you may be board with it, it's yet another witness shedding light on Trump's actions that day.

Allegations 3+ years after, hearing is scheduled for Mar 21, 2024

The FBI nor the Capitol police seized any firearms during the "DAYTIME" event
The FBI is not a police force. (Think about what the "I" stands for.

Calling them hostages is just more silly Trump speech. Most of those charged should have only faced misdemeanor charges. From what we saw in the BLM riots the majority of folks should have faced little to no consequences for their actions. A fine, maybe a few days in the slammer at most. Credit for time served. BLM showed what kind of sentences should have been handed out. Most serving significant time should be released and let go. Anyone rooting should have been charged. Anyone trespassing should have been charged. But sentences should have been equitable to anything the BLM rioters got.

...so all those people who crossed the police line and forcefully entered the US Capitol apparently misread Trump's intent. And as they caried out mayhem, Trump wasn't exactly discouraging them as his aids and famly members begged him to call them off.
Sounds like MSM propaganda IMHO

Tell that to the many conservative Trump supporters that have had their doors beat down and arrested by the FBI

All conspiracy silliness.
Tell me then.
Why didn't Trump tell them earlier to stop attacking the Capital?
We all saw it get violent on the TV hours in advance. Why didn't Trump tell them to go home much earlier?

I didn't say the lacked the power to arrest. Their job is not to police the Capitol, that's one big reason they didn't arrest anyone at the Capitol.

As it stands, FBI Christopher Wray still hasn't answered congress if the FBI or their assets were present at the capitol on Jan 6th, a very easy answer of Yes/No

The guard will change on Jan 20th, 2025 MAGA Trump, I can't wait to see the whole Jan 6th event behind the scenes exposed, break out the popcorn it's gonna be a good movie

Everybody saw Trumps actions, it goes like this

Trump Quote: Go and peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard

Everybody saw armed capitol police escorting attendees in the capitol building on tours

You have a few hooligans and vandals at Jan 6th and you think your going to create a Trump insurrection, big smiles!

The false MSM narrative on President Trump is out the door, as biased propaganda

They have taken poll after poll on voting Americans that believe the present actions against President Trump are politically motivated, you think it's a mystery why president Trump is leading in the polls

The more the left persecutes president Trump, the higher the polls are going for the Republican nominee for president in 2024

Trump 2024, MAGA

The FBI did not have a presence at the Capitol on Jan. 6th despite the desperate need of some on the right to think so.

When making claims like this, you should back it up with something, otherwise it can be viewed as just making things up.

Curious - if so - Christopher Wray could have ended a vast portion of the suggestion of impropriety by simply stating so when asked under oath.

What is your opinion as to why he avoided answering the question in any form?

Trump 2024, MAGA
For 2 months, Trump was raging about the election, telling lies all over the place and repeating them constantly. On Jan. 6th, the plans were already in place by the Proud Boys and it looks like some MAGA congressmen were aware of it. Trump already told the crowd to fight (using a profanity) or there won't be a democracy. He also said, "We're gathered together in the heart of our nation's capital for one very, very basic and simple reason: To save our democracy."
Earlier in his speech he said:
" All of us here today do not want to see our election victory stolen by emboldened radical-left Democrats, which is what they're doing. And stolen by the fake news media. That's what they've done and what they're doing. We will never give up, we will never concede. It doesn't happen. You don't concede when there's theft involved."
How did he think the crowd would 'stop the steal' and "save democracy"? By singing? Shouting chants?

Everybody saw 100's (or a few thousand) MAGA supporters tearing down barricades.

Everybody saw MAGA supporters attacking media people.

Everybody saw MAGA supporters breaking into the Capitol. Everyone saw the fighting - it was all on TV.

Everybody saw MAGA supporters fighting the Capitol police, including the officer caught in the door and being smashed, and others following a policeman up the stairs.

Everybody saw that Pence and congress had to be evacuated.

Everybody saw MAGA supporters in the Senate chamber. Everyone saw MAGA supporters taking things (like the podium). Everybody heard MAGA supporters cry "Hang Pence" and "Nancy, Where are you Nancy?"

And everybody WAITED for the President to respond and stop the carnage. Why didn't he send in the National Guard? HE never did. Pence authorized. Why?

"I think it's very obvious that the president didn't do anything, but gleefully watch television while this was going down," Kinzinger, who has emerged as one of Trump's harshest critics on the right, said. "He can say anything he wants. The real leader, the only person in charge that made those calls was Mike Pence. And we'll prove that."
The committee utilized video testimony from Joint Chiefs Chairman General Mark Milley to back up their allegation that Trump did not order the National Guard to be deployed. In that clip, Milley said the then-vice president told Defense Department leaders to "get the Guard down here, put down this situation." The general explained that Trump's White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, conversely, was merely concerned about controlling the narrative.
Marc Short, Pence's former chief of staff, seemed to back up Milley's testimony in a Thursday evening interview with Fox Business after the televised hearing.
"The vice president's first calls were to [GOP House Minority Leader] Kevin McCarthy, [GOP Senate] Leader [Mitch] McConnell, [Democratic House] Speaker [Nancy] Pelosi and [Democratic Senate] Leader [Chucks] Schumer, to make sure they were safe and to make sure their functions were okay. He, at they're encouragement, reached out to the Pentagon to make sure additional reinforcements were sent," the Pence aide explained.

What FBI presence was in the Capitol that day? The claim is made before my post. That claim needs to be backed up. What FBI agents were there who could have stopped anything?

IF there were undercover people, could they have stopped the carnage?
