So if you need to know the contents of the nuclear secrets to know what valid reason he might have for keeping them? Let me be the first to offer the idea that he had no valid reason to keep nuclear secrets.
Do you KNOW what is on the documents?
It seems that you are awfully sure about what's on the documents.
Can you think of a valid reason for him to have these documents?
Or maybe they are worried and hoping beyond hope that he wasn't doing that.Yes giddy. The very fact that we have people on speculating on what the documents are and that he's selling nuclear secrets to our adversaries is evidence they are just hoping beyond hope that what he was doing was really really bad.

Regardless of any reasons he might have, he's not allowed to keep nuclear secrets. Keeping such records is forbidden under the Atomic Energy Act. A president can declassify information but is expected to consult with each cabinet head whose information he wants to declassify to ensure he's not going to harm the country by doing so. There is no indication Trump did that with each piece of classified information found at his residence. Furthermore, regardless of classification, some records still cannot be removed due to different laws like the Atomic Energy Act mentioned above. So if you need to know the contents of the nuclear secrets to know what valid reason he might have for keeping them? When I read line 2 it is solid reasoning. So, I think line 2 supersedes line 1, since line 2 describes an obvious malevolence against any who would stand in his way.1)I don't know that Trump had malicious intent...
2)He is not defending himself claiming it was an honest mistake. Instead, he is charging partisan politics and a corrupt FBI. Not the actions of a contrite man who unknowingly took home classified documents.
Hopefully when Trump supporters attack Congress or the FBI building, they can do so in a civil manner.
Hopefully that never happens. I just wish things could have been handled differently from the start.
The FBI could have treated President Trump as someone willing to cooperate, initially, rather than someone who needed to have his home raided without warning. I just feel like this was overly aggressive, and so, oftentimes aggression breeds more aggression - this does not unite America.
...And I only say "President Trump" because it's a traditional courtesy.
No. You do not understand. You mean like giving him a chance to return all the documents? Then when they found out his lawyer lied to them giving him a further two months when they subpoenaed the documents? Then when that finally failed issuing a search warrant? That kind of treating him as willing to cooperate? How much more lenient should they be to someone who willfully broke the law?

I wonder if Russia will be tied to it somehow... Maybe say that he was supplying sensitive information to our enemies. That could really impact his image, LOL.
I'm not so sure things happened the way you're describing it.
Then perhaps you should look into it? It is not as if this info is not all over the news.
I just Googled it and all I saw were things about taxes. Drudge report isn't highlighting it either.
I'm not sure where to look.
Odd. I found it rather easily.

Must be that partisan google filter.
For some reason when I use my phone I am limited on what I can search for. I get more results on my computer.Odd. I found it rather easily.
