According to the Financial Times, Trump spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin during last November’s G20 summit in Argentina without a US official present to take notes. First lady Melania Trump was by the president’s side during the chat, but no staff joined them.

The White House had previously acknowledged that both leaders met for an “informal” talk but didn’t disclose that Trump had no official member of his team present. Putin did have someone, though: his translator, although it’s unclear if that person wrote anything down.

This isn’t the first time Trump has done this. During the G20 meeting in Germany in July 2017, he got up from his seat during a dinner in order to sit next to Putin, who did have his translator to help. That meeting, which the White House didn’t initially reveal, came just hours after Trump bought Putin’s denial that Russia didn’t intervene in the 2016 presidential election.

hmmm,
I think I get what is said.

The president, who is allowed to meet at these summits, didn't have an official at hand to make sure Trump (or play spy on Trump for Lib media) didn't "betray" America, therefore Trump is guilty of Russian collusion. And it is virtually a 100% fact he is guilty because of this, and if not shame on him for talking to anyone without a nanny to babysit Trump, and hate him further.
Can we apply this method to every single politician and president we have had?

Look, Trump has an entire State Department to deal with foreign policy. It is there to serve his needs. At his direction. But if he can't provide notes (or worse, destroys notes) of what was discussed between world leaders, his team can't help him.

As usual, he's just blundering about making things up as he goes. Sometimes, there is a Defense Secretary or a Speaker of the House to rein in or modify his nonsense, but there is no way to apply a fix to mistakes that happen in secret.

That's a magnificent straw man. Shame you had to beat it like you did.

It is quite telling that Trump apologists can't simply explain his words or actions and have to make stuff up.

Wow! They had dinner st the same table!

Both should be shot! Obviously the chocolate cake episode was a precursor for more nefarious things.

Did he have two scoops of ice cream as well, or were the deserts unregulated?

Who cares? Only those who bought into that whole fake collusion story I'd assume.
A majority of Americans care about Trump’s alleged ties to Russia.

This eerily sounds like you are talking about obama.

What is there to explain? He had a private meeting with a world leader. If he wanted his team to know what was said, they would know.

At this point let's get rid of classified information all across the government, actually hold people accountable for the work product completed for us, and clean house of all the folks who think otherwise. But short of that, you will always have secrets and lack of accountability.

Direct military plans etc., secrecy makes sense. Most of the other things, it doesn't.

There are no “innocent” dinner conversations with Putin. To think Putin wasn’t “working” Trump is naive.

Okay so you're saying Trump wasn't aware of Russian interference in the 2016 election?

That's really unrelated to this story or what I'm saying, but since you bring it up... I know Trump was informed of Russian interference before he was inaugurated. So to that extent, he was aware. But at the same time, Trump also denied Russian interference in the 2016 election.

If one tossed out never heard CNN ABC CBS NBC MSNBC FOX news. Where the was not lol RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA... then no one would care. Trump is not the 1st Prez to do this.

All of this is speculation and then its RUSH to the negative. And...lol we are ALL on the out side looking in.. listening to some that have NO CLUE whats happening. The fact that most NEWS is has been ALL negative about Trump.

I just watched a video where the guy was at some collage asking them about WHOS fault is it for the shutdown. ALL said Trump. Then the guy said..WHAT IF Trump WAS to offer.... all this other stuff..should the Dems take it? ALL said yes. Then ALL were SHOCKED to find out TRUMP DID offer everything that guy said and the DEMS said no.

What got me was.. NONE of them new that. As if ALL just listen to CNN ABC CBS NBC MSNBC ..

Any way.. TRUMP and Russia.. please.. just a simple search you find Trump has been harder on RUSSIA then Obama ever was. And to chat with Putin? So what? Any one that has been changed with ANYTHING is all AFTER the fact.. After Mueller. As of right now there are NOT ties nothing what so ever between Trump and Russia. Look what they did to Stone.. like him or not.. look what they did.. Streets blocked off yet CNN was there...and guns all out. The fact they were looking into Stone for over 2 YEARS.. had all the INFO.. anyway..

Pray FOR HIM! As we are told to.. YOUR free choice
