Yes, but they are called Communion wafers. Cracker is just another word for wafer.
Catholic Lesson 101: they are called Communion wafers prior to transubstantiation. After that, they are Jesus or the Eucharist.

Yes, I know that. The point is saying cracker instead of wafer is not disrespectful. Also Trump said he was raised Presbyterian. Presbyterians do not believe in transubstantiation. Presbyterians believe in a spiritual presence of Christ in communion, where the bread and wine are symbolic.

White Evangelical Christians. The Moral Majority. And yes, Trump does see it as a power bloc where he shares nothing come that faith.
That's actually funny. White. Evangelical. Christians. Where's the emphasis in this label? White, evangelical, or Christian? "Progressives" tend to think all three are bad. Yeah, that's really going to get "Progressives" the "Whites," "evangelicals," and Christian votes.

Somehow I don't think "White Evangelical Christians" are the only ones who're hoping to eventually go to Heaven, or reach Nirvana, or whatever you want to think comes later. I really don't. Atheists, who look forward to a dreamless sleep of non-existence, are excepted. And no, that's not a slur. Isaac Asimov said as much in an essay. And yet when we have a public figure express the same thing most are hoping for, in the exact same way, by "good works," then it's immediately labeled as appealing to an imaginary "voting block," even though Christians immediately pick up on how it's trusting in one's own works and not Christ.

Taken at face value, Trump's statement is no different than an average American saying "I'm a good person. I hope I make it to Heaven." None.

Which is actually good for us non-Roman Catholics to know. For some of us non-Roman Catholics, Communion is called the Lord's Supper. It's still supposed to be a solemn observance. It's common in smaller Protestant churches to use soda crackers for Communion wafers, as they're easier to come by. Grape juice in place of wine. And, I'm sorry to say, levity among the children with the left-overs, though thankfully that is much less common that what I've observed.

I wouldn't be surprised for someone from a small church that served soda crackers for Communion wafers to refer to it as a cracker. I doubt Trump has been in such churches much. Like "Two Corinthians," it shows how little background he has in such things

It was under his authority that US AID was shut down as well as funding for other humanitarian efforts around the world.
A look for USAID scandal turned up quite a number of things from Trump unfriendly sources, none of them which put USAID in a good light. Despite the claim of humanitarian effort and vaccines and food, a lot of money went to other things. Like 6 million dollars to fund Egypt tourism. Yeah, that bought a lot of vaccines. !5 million for DEI in Serbia. Lots of vaccines there. Lots of rot, too, as evidenced by the scandals. Sort of like one of those private organizations soliciting donations, then spending a good bit of it on things other than why people sent them their money.

As is well known, USAID was not solely devoted to humanitarian aid but to economic and political development as well. It did not initiate programs but funded them at the request of the countries involved. BTW, the two examples you cited are flat-out lies.

Many of the humanitarian functions of USAID are going to continue under The State Department, but the details have not been published.

It's sad - a side effect of his NPD - but he has not read a book in his adult life. Let alone the bible.
That is incredible. The man has never read a book his entire life?

He graduated high school having never reading a book?

He graduated from a military school having never read a book?

He graduated Wharton school of business one of the most competitive Ivy League schools in the world for business without ever having read a book?

He took $100 million and turned it into a $5 billion industry and never read a book?

He brokered seven peace deals internationally in seven months and you believe he’s never read a book?

He runs 300 different corporations throughout the world and you believe he’s never read a book?

Can you imagine what he could do if he read if he read a book!

And you really want people to believe that. Or perhaps you’re asking us to believe 250 doctors who have never met the man who have never asked him a single question who have never examined him who don’t know anything about his medical history you want us to believe their opinion of them, that’s funny.!

This is why the Democratic Party has lost two out of three elections to President Trump. Since his entry into U.S. politics, Democrats have frequently questioned his intellect, yet they have been defeated twice. Whether one agrees with President Trump or not, or believes his political strategy is beneficial or detrimental to America, it is necessary to acknowledge that his political skills are unmatched by any politician in the past fifty years. However, Democrats often struggle to accept this reality. Remarks such as “he doesn’t know anything” or “he never read anything” are common from Democratic critics. If President Trump lacks knowledge as they claim, it raises questions about their own skills or knowledge given these electoral outcomes.

Its not all Trump political genius. The way been prepared for him by a 30 year right wing media project which severely weakened the discernment of the average American voter.

Nearly 30 Republicans ran against President Trump in the 2016 and 2024 GOP primaries, but none succeeded. If it were not for Trump's political skill, someone else would be the GOP nominee.

Is nice to have the intention of following God morals and fearing God.
Most people were like that not so many decades ago i believe.
But that is not what all the gospel is about though.
Yeah but doing out of fear rather than a natural inclination is a damning indictment of his character.

There is conspiracy forum for such unsubstantiated claims - like when Clinton spoke of 'the vast right-wing conspiracy'.

Unless of course you have verifiable facts...

Whatever the conflict, one should never underestimate the opponent.

Wafer: a very thin, light, crisp, sweet cookie or cracker.
Still, calling Holy Communion a cracker is rather inappropriate, imo.

It’s no longer a “cracker” after transubstantiation occurs. And they aren’t sweet, either.
For Catholics, yes. I don’t think Presbyterians or Reformed believe in the real presence.
