I hide my situation, but not from God cause he sees everything and knows all.
I tell myself that i peek at porno wont bring me down. Well it has brought me down and by the grace of God i get up quick; because if i remain down, it would mean that i do have a trouble with pornography. I was sexually active with my girl that i used to have but that was 4 years ago. Now, i myself dont peek at porno with porpuse, but incently i do see that.... not always...

I used to tell myself things like that before too. And even that it was something that "everyone did", something "completely normal" and even that it would be unhealthy for me if I didn't do it. That by "denying and suppressing myself" I could even get mentally ill! But all these are lies from the devil.

The truth is that pornography is just filthy. It is a disgusting habit to look at it. Everyone knows that even if they say it is normal, then they would be ashamed if anyone knew what they were doing. Imagine sitting there with the pants down and your parents walked in. I bet everyone would feel like a pig and be filled with shame from it.

The truth sets you free. Porn is filthy and got nothing to do with the love God wants to give us in our lives. The kind of love that Song of Songs are telling about. A love that no fires can quench, a love that is stronger then death. This is what God wants for couples. Not to be rolling around in mud like pigs.

Agree with the post about pornography being filthy. Maybe you are someone who doesn't see it as filthy. Try looking at it from someone else's perspective. They may see it as disgusting even though you don't just like you find someone's habit of chewing tobacco to be totally disgusting. Because you are captured by the habitually viewing of pornography, you are blinded to the truth about it.

Yep, that is someone's daughter or sister and they may even be your sister in Christ.

Think of it that way, and the temptation may lessen. I know it did for me.
