No. That would not be true.

"Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, ..." (Ezekiel 36:22).

Jason every one knows those verses refer to the new covenant. But your beliefs have unravelled startlingly this evening(uk time)

And you honestly believe verse 6 is not related to when the prophetic prophecies of the first five verses have taken plac?
I really don't know what to say, nothing I think so i don't upset you!

Provide a word for word commentary. Generalized statements like you have given here are not going to convince me. When I read it plainly, I get no indication that the first five verses are a definition of verse 6 at all. You need to convince me that there are words that I have missed that would make this a reality. If not, I am going to assume you are just making up stuff.

Read the whole of ez 36. I have never chatted to anyone with so much error on this, sorry but that is the truth.
I guess I should have expected it when someone on the internet was demanding sinless perfection

I do not care what everyone believes or says. What does the Word of God actually say. Read the whole chapter again and think you are an Israelite who is reading it. Do you get an indication that it is speaking of some other people exclusively and not the Israelite? If so, then where does it state that?

I will be waiting for your response as to what verse you think says so.

From your statement you realise your error, it sounds as if you are desperate. I will put it back up and ez 36 don't worry. Just be patient!

I have read the whole of the chapter several times. I am asking you to do so from the perspective of an Israelite. Have you ever read it in that way before?

Not at all. I am very comfortable in what Ezekiel 36 says. The challenge is up to you to prove that Ezekiel 36:26-27 is not talking about the Israelite, too.

Jason my friend, you have obviously read the bible a lot, but you CANNOT have relied on the one who leads into truth as you read it. That is not meant unkindly. But to defend where truth ultimately comes from

I can say the same to you. But that is not an answer to prove your case with Ezekiel 36 and Deuteronomy 30. You need to actually show verses that prove your case (or it just sounds like you are making stuff up out of thin air).

Jason, it does not matter what you are shown from scripture you refuse to believe it. So why do I stay in this conversation? In case a new christian reads your comments and wonders whether to believe them

Yes, that is the same reason why I speak here patiently and in love with you, as well. So why don't you answer with Scripture and prove your case so as to convince them then?

I will be waiting.

It's not a matter of a vote. It's a matter of what does God's Word actually say. For I don't receive my teaching from men, but from God and His Word.

Okay, I was looking at Deuteronomy 30 again. Yes, verse 5 is saying that he will bring the children of the Israelites into a land that they will possess and then in verse 6 it says he will circumcise hearts. But in verse 6: Is God speaking present tense? Future tense? Or both? What about the person who could not enter the sanctuary? Was this only speaking of the Israelite's immediate children? How could this be their children alone? The following verses say He commands the Isrealites THIS DAY in doing all of His commandments. He said YOU (thou) shall return and obey the voice of the LORD.

"And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee. And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day."

Does this chapter say that only the Israelite's offspring will be circumcised in heart?

If I was an Israelites reading the Scriptures during that time, and I read this,

"And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live." (Deuteronomy 30:6).

I would believe that this would have applied to me because God's Word says, he will circumcise THINE (my) heart, and the heart of THY (my) seed.

So here is the proof. It says YOUR (MY) heart and then it says the heart of YOUR (MY) seed (i.e. My children). So if I was an Israelite, I would understand that it is talking about circumcision of the heart for ME and for MY children.

Now what was Moses speaking of in the first five verses?

It is clear from the emboldened Moses was referring to a time after the Israelites had been exiled and returned to the land. This would not obviously be before Christ died at Calvary. The following four verses after verse six also speak of blessings for Israel. So clearly, it is not speaking of circumcising the heart under the new covenant.
Now Jason likens Ezekiel 36:26&27 to Deut 30:6, let us see if those verses have anything in common with the ones just quoted:
If I was an Israelites reading the Scriptures during that time, and I read this,

"And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live." (Deuteronomy 30:6).

I would believe that this would have applied to me because God's Word says, he will circumcise THINE (my) heart, and the heart of THY (my) seed.

So here is the proof. It says YOUR (MY) heart and then it says the heart of YOUR (MY) seed (i.e. My children). So if I was an Israelite, I would understand that
