  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sorry to hear that. I've been through that, only it was primarily people in the world, not people in the church. I'm the kind of person who is sensitive to those who are in danger of falling through the cracks (I like to think this is within any environment) and I do what I can - of course, I'm not Mr. Extrovert so I obviously can't get everybody. There might be people like this in your church, or a church nearby. In any case, Christians need to be intentional about loving like Christ - whether it's welcoming people like we should, or loving people deeply from the heart as we should, or forgiving people like we should. As human beings, it's easy to lapse out of that without really thinking about it until we're guilty.

Designer -Mom I will be your friend if you need anything ..questions, prayer, or just need to talk..PM me and I will be a friend.

Unfortunately Christians can get caught up in the religion of Christianity. It is not that they are not loving people, it is just some are still somewhat insecure in their own Faith. But do not want that openly recognized, so some can become hypocritical of new comers.

It can be difficult to find the right Church that fits you, Keep in mind that sometimes YAHWEH (G-D) want's you to be a little uncomfortable as that can bring change to your life, it can be the way the LORD is leading you.

The only way you can truly understand this is through prayer..simply ask YAHWEH (G-D) to lead you thru understanding.

I personally never could find a Church that was comfortable, although that in itself was not the main reason I left the Christian Church to follow a Messianic Faith, but it played into it.

Please I am not saying that is what you should do YAHWEH lead me to my decision, let HIM lead you to yours.

Some Christians are just plain phony. All flowery and sweet on the surface and so full of bull. They're still growing so please don't hold it against them.

I suggest you find a fairly new church with a growing congregation. Those are the best for newbies. Make sure they have Bible Study groups for you and for your husband and join.

Also, don't buy into all the merriment right away. The Lord tells us to "test the spirit" before diving in. In other words, take your time to find those you really have a connection with. There are a mix of personalities that work but you want the mix that works for you.

God bless you,

The Guide
