Many of you seem to like being told what to think and how to act. Clinging to a book that you believe has all the answers and never using your better judgment when you know certain idea's in the Bible ain't right. You think you have permission by God to convert everyone you meet, and you have no qualms scaring the crap out of your children if you believe it gets them into heaven.

You have met the bible, you have not met God or the Holy spirit in your life or you wouldn't be talking all of that... Which is a shame. God can do things to people and interact with us, he is alive, and he is a lot better than what you think.

I don't know there, the Bible is a bit divided on that subject. Can you meet God Almighty and live, or not?

Don't be like that, i didn't went to heaven or something, but we can feel his presence, and the Holy spirit can make us understand things about Him and experience others.

I think it would be possible for the one who is blameless.. so, that's why there is a need for atonement.

The principle is found in Genesis 3, where Adam and Eve are suddenly hiding from God - because they knew that they were naked, and they couldn't escape the conviction, their shame for that nakedness, while they were in His presence (BibleGateway - Keyword Search: unapproachable light).

It really does make you think, though! .. so as we know that there is nothing new under the sun, then there's things in the scriptures that can lead us to hope: BibleGateway - Keyword Search: make face shine

Anyone who has seen The Most High God has seen His image - The Word of God. Moses, Enoch, the prophets, the disciples all saw the Most High God through the Redeemer, because the Word of God is the image of the Most High God.

The fine tuning is there, now you can say it was God, or... believe in the multiverse or something else, but its that to life to exist there seems to exist some precise parameter values in the universe that if altered even a bit it wouldn't allow life. And they found a lot of those parameters. Casuality, multiverse, God? i go with God because already know Him.

It is true that the parameters allow for carbon based life, but what if they didn't? so what... Do you really think that we are so special that parameters would be set in our favour in this little corner of the universe to facilitate our existence?

And further.. Even if the parameters were set by some intelligent designer, what makes you believe that your particular God is that designer?

The bible doesn't go into any detail about this in Genesis, so what makes you so sure? I could understand your belief if there was some detail in your holy book, but we both know that there isn't.

On your last point.. How do you 'know God' You're very lucky.
